As my wife is the main chef in our household, I fully relied on her opinion when ordering this Stoneware Dinnerware Set. She chose the color and the configuration of the set herself. This set is designed for four people and consists of four sets, each containing three plates of various sizes. This is quite sufficient for an average American family.The first thing that caught my eye when I received the package from Amazon was how thoughtfully and carefully the dishes were packed in soft plastic to prevent damage during transportation. This is very important because in the past, I often received dishes already broken due to careless handling. In this set, such an issue is practically eliminated.The next thing I noticed was the quality of the ceramics and the painting of the set. Before this purchase, we used fairly thin dishes from a well-known manufacturer who produces unbreakable kitchen sets. Every time I took such a plate out of the microwave after heating food, it was impossible to handle because it was very hot. With this set, after heating the same food, I can take the plate out of the microwave just slightly warm because the thicker dishes absorb the heat emitted by the food during heating. Additionally, the thickness of the dishes gives them a very solid appearance.The dishes handle microwave heating perfectly without any defects or changes in the coating. Also the plates fit perfectly in a standard dishwasher. The thickness of the plates meets the standards set for dishwashers. The company logo on the back of the plate is not a paper sticker, although it appears to be so. The logo is engraved and printed directly on the ceramics, which again shows the quality and thoughtfulness of the design.Our family enjoys using this set, and we hope it will serve us for many years. The manufacturer claims that the set is chip-resistant and quite difficult to break. Only time will tell if this is true. Knowing our children, this might not take long (just kidding). In any case, I will try to leave an update to my review after the dishes have undergone “battle testing.” For now, in terms of design, quality, and practicality, this product deserves all five stars.

Really nice stoneware
This is an attractive set of stoneware in an ivory/gray combination. The gray has a green rather than blue undertone so it’s a warmer color.It’s a good price. The bowls are on the small side buy I like the lip on the plates. They were packed quite meticulously. Unfortunately, one of the bowls arrived chipped on the rim, which didn’t appear to happen during shipping. The chip wasn’t anywhere in the box or the packing material or I would have gladly glued it back in place. Thus the -1 star.Still a solid 4 stars if this was a one-off as the packing was excellent and quality/appearance is as well.

Pokini makes incredible dinnerware
I’ve been using a different dinnerware set from Pokini for quite sometime now on a daily basis and they have maintained their beauty and glaze wonderfully. No chips, cracks, or scratches whatsoever. I choose to hand wash mine vs. using the dishwasher so cannot comment on that. My favorite thing about this stoneware is the design of the reactive glaze of the colors and also the raised edge of the plates. It is so helpful to keep food on the plate vs. having it slide off if accidently if tipped a bit. This company also stands behind their products with an after-sales guarantee, where they will replace or compensate you.

Amazing set
This is such an amazing set. The plates are thick and solid. I love the color and how it lends a more elegant appearance at dinner.They are dishwasher and microwave safe which is a plus!
