Truly GORGEOUS!
I’ll just say the one “negative” point that I have — the glassware and stoneware color sets are not coordinated well, imo. Ideally, the clear glass would have been paired with the gray stoneware and the smoky glasses with the beige dinnerware. I really wanted the smoky glasses and the beige dinnerware…so, I opted for the smoky glasses and the gray dinnerware set….it doesn’t look right together.Bottomline, however — both the dinnerware and the glassware is very stylish and suited for nice meals and guests!The glass is surprisingly thin, but still seems durable, not fragile. My favorite part of the glassware design in the smooth, flat foot. Very cool!The plates and bowls are a striking design. The walls and bottoms of each are pretty thick and heavy. I’m curious how well the pieces will stand up to chipping — although the quality of the ceramics and the glazing looks very nice, I still am concerned about regular use as plates and bowls tend to bump into each other when stacking or when loading in and out of dishwashers and sinks. I will be heartbroken when I get my first ding.I would definitely like to expand my collection to 8 or 12 settings…but wish there was the option to get the smoky glasses with the beige stoneware.
