Incredibly high quality metal in the knives and my previous steak knives pales in comparison to this. The blade is not dull at all. Although the knife can be a bit heavy it is still a nice upgrade to my old steak knives.

My bonus daughter, a sous chef for years, recommended these to me. They came super sharp out of the box, have a great balanced weight, and the wood color is beautiful to boot. Cuts through meats like butter!

Nice quality, good heft
We have been using these for a couple months. They cut well. They are substantial, and feel very sturdy. These are larger than any other steak knives i have ever used in someone’s house, so they might look a little oversized next to your other cutlery, but again, they are hefty and sturdy. I love that it comes with 8, in case you have guests you don’t have to put out a mis-matched set.I have been hand-washing, so i don’t know if the sharpness would fare well in the dishwasher.I have one small complaint, and i didn’t feel it deserves a star removal, but still it’s odd. See in the listing, on the knives it says “Lan Series.” Well, on my actual knives it says “Lan Serees.” So the word “series” is mis-spelled. If i gave this as a gift, it might appear weird if the person noticed. It makes it appear like a cheap knock-off of something else.
