Exactly as described
There are many negative reviews that come from people who arenât reading or looking at pictures:â¢It is not âflimsyâ, it is completely rigid.â¢It opens exactly as wide as pictured. If you need wider get different tongsâ¢It is exactly as I expected it based on the Staub pictures and description.â¢it is nothing like what the people who expected it to be something completely different than what was pictured describe.

Too Good to be True
I was very excited to receive this. I have been in need of a good pair of tongs but this is just too hard for me to use. I am however happy with my other staub purchases but for some reason the sturdiness on these tongs is just too sturdy. These are stiff and hard to control. By the time I can manage them and pick something up efficiently, my food is overcooking. Not my favorite…

Over time in my trying to use these, I had originally purchased these for smaller and more delicate âpiecesâ in my various pans⦠like shrimp⦠however, they lack a proper grasp for such items after trying to use these tongs

VERY DISAPPOINTED
I bought this with the belief that with its pointed end that it would pick up thin items such as baconeasily. I do not find this to be the case. It may be good for larger things, but certainly not better thantraditional tongs. I wish I had reacted while the return window was still available.Also a very rubbery construction which I find uncomfortable.
