No hassle removing cake
Used the 6″ version today to make flourless chocolate torte cake. I cut the recipe in half. Normal recipe calls for a 9″ pan and the 6″ is almost perfectly half the area of the 9 inch pan. The recipe calls for baking in a water bath, and this is watertight. Those split ring pans are not. Nothing stuck. The cake dropped right out. Normally, there’s a little fight with a metal pan. It is now in the fridge cooling down awaiting glaze.
