Absolutely The Best Dish Drying Solution EVER! Amazed At The Efficiency, No Water Excess!
May I begin with my skepticism was on blast when I first noticed these stones labeled dish drying mats. I was actually looking for those old, outdated plastic huge ugly oversized dish drying things that you put your hand washed dishes in and then they spread water all over the counter, and the person using it most often. So with that visual in my head? I was snorting a sullen “yea, right” when first noticing these.But, as I could not locate the old aforementioned plastic drying nightmares, I begrudgingly ordered these, sure I would be regretting it, but smug in the inability of efficacy I could prove like a badge of skeptic knowledge of all reasons why I needed my dish machine NOW, or at least until my new dishwasher arrived, lol.These were not as large as I thought they might be, another “ah ha!” snarky comment as I put the little legs on each corner as instructed. A little too easy I thought, but simplistic and couldn’t really complain about the ease? I immediately went to the sink and positioned close enough to the side portion of counter I placed several dish towels to quickly grab to soak up all the water that I was sure to pour off these stones…When I am wrong? I will admit it, and honestly I could not have been more wrong as to anything & every negative thought regarding these marvelous drying stones!!! I am absolutely in awe of how well, not just well? But how exceptional these preform in every area! The sizes of larger and just a bit smaller are perfect in space saving as the smaller shoots perfectly under the larger, & the texture holds my dishes in place when I stacked them up with the first leaning on my spice rack, the rest prop right up in place without any slipping over? Freaking amazed by that, but the absorbent ability these provide are just unbelievable y’all, I am amazed, absolutely amazed.The diatomaceous earth (excuse me if I misspelled that, its a lot to say let alone write) that these drying stones are made from are a frigging mystery to me in how they absorb but do not expand? But at things like this? I really don’t care I don’t know why, only that these are beyond imagination when it comes to performance!Now the ONLY negative I can mention, but know before it is NOT a deterrent, and does not transfer to the items drying on. But there IS a bit of a unpleasant odor, at least to begin with should I say there WAS. It seems to have dissipated as I have not detected any odor since the first day in use. Again, no odor was transferred to any glass, plate, silverware that dried beautifully on. I would highly recommend these amazingly fabulous observant wonders to anyone cursed to have to hand wash instead of pressing the button on the washer! I have to be honest when saying I cannot wait for my new dishwasher to arrive, but if you have to wash without? These are the drying accessories you have to have! Fabulous and for once? I do not mind at all in my incorrect assumption of performance. Would absolutely obtain again, selfishly I pray I won’t have to as I am not a fan of this hand washing deal, but again? These are your besties in the end of that, amazingly effective! Thank you!

Attractive, effective with no need for a drain board
With only two of us in the house now it’s more efficient to wash dishes with a drying rack instead of running the dishwasher every few days. However, long-term use and water dripping onto a drain board can leave a disgusting mess. These diatomaceous drying mats are magical. The quick drying quality of the stone itself does not need a drain board. And the two mats can be expanded as needed.We tried to use it with a drying rack for stacking dishes but found that the low-lying mats not only made the counter look less crowded, we put our dishes away more quickly. No more leaving them stacked for days on end. The look of the mats with their silver tube-shaped legs is attractive. The simplicity of the design is a pleasing change on our busy looking countertop.The only reason for the four star rating is the dishes take longer to dry than when using a rack and drain board. There are rivulets that allow for free air flow but it still takes longer for dishes to dry. Despite this, I highly recommend the stone mats.
