Perfect for different uses
I had a unusual problem with my springform pan. One of my favorite recipes is a pumpkin cheesecake. The crust has butter in it. With this particular springform, the butter would melt and drip out of the pan, stinking up the oven and the kitchen. It took awhile to figure out but with foil and the pan protector, no melted butter burning in the oven. The crust came out perfect this year!I know some people use a pan with a water and bake their cheesecake (and perhaps other types of cakes) with the water level about .5-.75 inch depth. Unless you implicitly trust your springform is watertight, this silicone pan protector does a great job of protecting your baked goods. It is slightly larger than a 9″ pan so no struggling with getting it to fit.I would not attempt to bake a cheesecake in the pan protector itself. It would be too flimsy as cheesecake batter with a crust is much heavier than a typical cake.A problem solver I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Works well with 9″ pan
I have a Nordic Ware 9″ springform pan and this protector fits perfectly. I wanted to include that bit since it is a common pan you can pick up at Target. It is snug and stays on the pan, but that is exactly what you want for the water bath.I’ve used it once and it really ups the cheese cake outcome. It takes it from looking like it was cooked in a home over to something that looks halfway professional with a very even top.Really easy clean up, if you can even call it that. I just really dried it off and then sat it on the counter to air dry the rest of the way before putting it away.

My 9â springform fits perfectly inside
I honestly didnât know that something like this existed, but Iâm glad I found out. This works really well too. The silicone is a really good insulator, so you may find things take longer to bake than they did when you wrapped your pan in foil. Still, Iâm saving foil waste, and I only have one springform pan at 10â, and the rest are smaller than the 9â, so I can use it for almost all my springform pans. Very easy to stack in your cabinet also. Definitely recommend!

Cheaper than using aluminum foil to wrap and protect from water if you make a lot of cakes
So as any cheesecake baker knows… you gotta use a lot of aluminum foil to protect the pan from the water bath. This works….. perfectly. I am surprised it took me so long to find this. I hate wasting aluminum foil in general but now with prices so ridiculous it makes even more sense. I think it will pay for itself in no time. The only possible downside is that it really is quite flimsy. I suppose that is ideal to attempt to not interfere with bake time and I did notice I had to add a little extra time, so adjust accordingly and prepare to add 3-10 minutes depending on how low and slow you go.I was hoping it could double as an actual 10 inch circular pan as some of the pictures seem to suggest…. but it is just too flimsy, I wouldn’t trust it to turn out truly circular. You might be able to get away with it if you support it with a sheet underneath but I’m not going to waste an attempt on the experiment. I hope someone else tries, I think it will be a bit lopsided if it has any sort of height to the cake. But for what it is, it is a great find!

Used for a quiche – worked great for that, too
This worked great for a quiche that I was a bit afraid might bubble over, as the pie plate was very full. The crust turned out fine, though it was parbaked. It didn’t brown as much as I think it would have if it hadn’t been inside this, but with parbaking, it actually turned out very nicely. Will try with a cheesecake next.

Exactly as described.
Good idea and practical. It saves the work of making a barrier with aluminum foil so that water does not get into the cake/flan.Not to mention that aluminum foil is not cheap and is a waste, since it cannot be reused. It comes folded, so it is a good idea to place it inside a cake pan and wait for it to return to its original shape, although that does not affect its performance.Good product.Recommended.

Cheesecake wonder
10/10 recommend this pan liner! Water baths are a scary thing when making a cheesecake or any dessert. Well, this silicone liner relieves all of your fears. It fit perfectly and wasnât too big or too small and it kept the water out!

Perfect Cheesecake Tool
Making cheesecake is one of those tricky things to start with. Then add the possibility of a wet crust, and there goes all of your hard work. This silicone pan helps to reduce that possibility, and is a lot more sturdy and reliable than foil, which is what I’ve always used in the past. I love making cheesecake, so this pan protector will get a ton of use in my kitchen. I am definitely happy I ordered this.
