I like it!
I bought this pot almost a year ago. So far it has held up under normal use beautifully with no chips or scratches in the enamel. I recently bought its little brother, a 1 qt pot with hopes that itâs equally well made.

this is a beautiful sauce pot in many ways- color, quality, size, price. Buying another one as soon as I finish posting this review. Absolutely recommend. Side note- itâs not as yellow as it looks in the Amazon ad. Itâs much more of a creamy off-white color.ðð

Heavy!!
This pot is EXTREMELY heavy. Moreso than the 10″ cast iron skillet I also use for cooking.That being said, the only other thing I can find to complain about is the finish will peel off if you put it in the dishwasher. We’ve cooked rice, beans, mashed potatoes, & a whole slew of other side dishes in this pot, & everything wipes out clean with only a little elbow grease. The green is more of a mint than “light green”, but I find it immensely appealing. It’s got a very retro-kitchen feel to it. The lid creates a perfect seal, & you’d be hard-pressed to find a better pot.

Enamel popped while cooking
I was so excited to get the enamel saucepan for less than $40. Itâs the small one and many companies do not make this size. Itâs perfect to make rice or pasta sides or heat up canned veggies on the stovetop. Iâve had it for just a few months past a year. I used it on average 2x a week? Maybe less. So I think I should be able to use an enamel cast iron pan more than 50-75 times before the center enamel just pops out while sautéing some butter and rice a roni. Very disappointing and I wish there was a way for replacement, but Iâm way past my purchase date!
