Great Kettle, Great Value
This little kettle is perfect for what I need, which is boiling water for my daily coffee and tea. It’s 800 ml capacity is equivalent to 27 fluid ounces, plenty for two standard 8 to10 oz. mugs or one large 15 to 16 oz. one. I really like that this kettle has a middle insulation layer protecting the exterior of the unit from getting hot while keeping the water inside hot for a good while. The stainless steel inner liner means you don’t taste any plastic, either. The 600-watts of power does the job in about four minutes or so, only a half-minute longer than my 1000-watt microwave that I had been using for boiling water. Note: this item does not have an exterior water level indicator but the inside is marked with MIN and MAX levels. This affordable little guy fits nicely on my counter, too. Yes, it makes noise, just like any other kettle or coffee maker. Why people whine about that in reviews is beyond me. Lol. Given it’s great price, I was somewhat skeptical. But no worries, as it turned out. This is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered mine in the matte black finish which took a week longer to receive but that wasn’t a big deal.
