Great looking cutting board set!
These cutting boards are so much more aesthetically pleasing than the typical white cutting boards. The rubber on the top and bottom make it very sturdy and they don’t slide around when you are cutting on them. They clean up great as well. Definitely recommend these cutting boards if you are in the market.

Like them but show lots of cut marks
I have only had these about a year. While I like the handles, the liquid channel on the outside and their weight, they show LOTS of cut marks. Unfortunately, these look as bad as the ones I replaced that I had had for 20+ years. Therefore, I expect after another couple of years, Iâll have to replace them. They need to be made of something that is a little more durable to help them last longer.

Great quality and truly dishwasher safe. I somehow got swept into the hype of the thin, flimsy cutting sheets; those just donât hold up well and I felt like I was creating an unacceptable amount of plastic waste as fast as I was going through them. These are made of plastic, but definitely will last! The color is a bit of a blush/pinkish tone beige (I like the color a lot) compared to a more brown/tan âbeige.â

If youâre like me, looking for a plastic-alternative cutting board, and skipped the longer product description, beware these are still made of plastic. The brief product name is deceptive saying these are âwheat strawâ material.

Ich habe nach hygienischen Schneidbrettern gesucht, welche nicht aus Kunststoff sind, und wo somit kein Plastik beim Schneiden ins Essen absplittert. Ich bin dabei auf Weizenstroh Schneidebretter in der Amazon Suche gestoÃen. Ich habe mir schlussendlich diese hier bestellt.Es wird mehrmals der Begriff Ãko und umweltfreundlich verwendet. Nach der Ankunft die groÃe Ernüchterung. Auf den Schneidbrettern ist PP aufgedruckt, was für Polypropylen steht. Ein normaler Kunststoff. Beschreibung oder ähnliches ist nicht vorhanden. D.h. die Schneidebretter dürften aus einer Mischung aus Kunststoff und Weizenstroh bestehen (zumindest dürfte Weizenstroh vorhanden sein, wenn man der Beschreibung glauben schenken darf).Aus wieviel Prozent Weizenstroh die Bretter bestehen ist nicht klar / wird nicht angegeben. D.h. mit Absplitterung des Kunststoffs ist auch bei diesen Brettern zu rechnen.Zusätzlich dürften die Schneidebretter auch eine wasserabweisende Beschichtung haben, da unter Wasser groÃe Tropfen gebildet werden, d.h. man darf auch damit rechnen, dass die wasserabweisende Schicht im Essen landet.Ãbrigens, lt. Artikel der Verbraucherzentrale vom Juli 2022 sind Produkte aus Kunststoff mit einer Beimischung von Weizenstroh in der EU nicht zugelassen und dürfen eigentlich nicht verkauft werden.Die Bewertung bezieht sich nicht speziell auf dieses Produkt sondern auf alle Schneidebretter aus Weizenstroh. Das Produkt kann ich nicht empfehlen. Weizenstroh ist eigentlich auch ein Abfallprodukt in der Landwirtschaft, d.h. ein Premiumpreis ist hier aus meiner Sicht ebenfalls gerechtfertigt.
