Beautiful and natural placemats
The colors and material are nice. There is a smell from the dried hyacinth but it’s not off-putting. Mine did not smell like chemicals like the other reviews. They smelled like dried up plants. The packaging however pretty much ruined most of them. All of them were stacked together and packed with lots of packing tape. When I unwrapped them, the packing tape peeled away at the fibers and material causing a lot of discoloration.UPDATE: The seller reached out and sent me a new package of placemats. They were not wrapped with tape this time so all of them arrived in perfect condition. I appreciate the seller sending me the replacements. They are perfect for holiday dinners and I’ll be using them often.

I bought the set of 10 because it was a great price. I will likely only use 8 at 1 time. They are very nice, only 1 seemed much lighter in color. Some were more tightly woven but I doubt it will affect use. They do smell a bit but I expected that since itâs a natural material. Happy with purchase.

They are really pretty and seem sturdy BUT they have a VERY strong chemical smell that does not go away. I sat them outside (for 2 days) and they still smell really bad. I will unfortunately have to return them.
