Perfect for any area
I bought this shelving unit to put between the space from my curio cabinets and the wall. I have a lot of photo albums that I cannot part with and I keep moving them to area from one to another. This was perfect beside my cabinet and they are accessible and they’re still shelf room on the front for my holiday decor. Very sturdy, nice looking, just the right height, I would highly recommend. Easy to keep clean and was easy to put together. Nice. You can adjust the shelves as you wish. A little tricky with the the corner adjustments but it does work once you get used to how they go on.

Sturdy and lightweight
Bought this to organize my networking equipment. Worked out well. The whole unit is strong and just the right size. It’s easy to put together and level. Feet screw in/out for leveling. Remember to use a small hammer to tap the shelves down. It strengthens it greatly! A small rubber smaller is recommended. With it set up it shakes a little when I open the printer. But that’s due to the small footprint and diameter of the supports. The paint is tough and should be rust free for many years. I bought the black color and it looks perfect against the light color walls and with the black colors of the equipment.

Great shelf, but pay attention to what youâre buying
This is a great shelf. Inexpensive, super easy to put together without tools, and very sturdy. I love it – works perfectly for what I needed.That said, there are some downsides that are in the description/photos/reviews, but maybe not very obvious. Pay attention to what youâre buying.1) Its matte mid-gray. Not shiny metallic silver. Itâs like itâs been coated in some kind of paint. Looks nice, but if you think youâre getting something metallic or polished nickel looking, youâre not.2) Some reviews complain about the black stoppers flying off. Thatâs because they were putting on the shelf upside down. The shelf only goes one way (rim up). If you do it upside down, the stoppers will fly off. If you do it right side up, they are great and very easy to assemble.3) As noted in #2, the shelves only go on ONE WAY. Rim up, like a little fence around the shelf. I can see why some people would like this (stops things from sliding off), but in my mind this is designed backwards. I think the rim should be down and the surface should be flat. In practice, since the shelf has a little fence around it, you canât really put anything on it that doesnât fit the dimensions exactly. If itâs a bit too big, it canât easily hang over the edge. If they put the rim under the shelf instead of above it, you could let large objects extend beyond the shelf limits. Sadly, that wonât work here, so check the sizes of your objects.4) Itâs metal (under the paint), and itâs sturdy, but itâs a little flexible. I have no problem with what I put on it, and Iâm sure there would be no problem putting a big heavy object on it that can distribute weight, but a SMALL heavy object (like a bowling ball) might cause it to bend if too much pressure is in one spot.These things aside, I thought it was a great purchase and exactly what I needed to clean up my messy closet.

Nice little shelf, with just one issue so far…
The good:* It’s *exactly* the size I needed, and there don’t seem to be too many like that.* The metal parts seem nicely coated in their black and are pleasant to the touch.* Everything expected in the package was there, and they even include an extra clip.* Once I *finally* got it to go together right, it seems nice and sturdy and stable, allowed me to carry it around a bit, and seems perfectly happy to hold what I’ve put on it so far.The bad:I spent a good half hour trying to get the clips to slide into the holes on the shelves. They clipped fine onto the pole, settled right into the flanges, but then I could *not* get them to slide into the shelf holes, as you can see they’re meant to do in the various photos. I believe that’s meant to keep the clips together and to increase the strength by squeezing tighter when more weight is on the shelf. Everything I tried to get them to slide on did nothing, or popped the clips right off.Well, eventually, we found the solution, and it was very simple: apparently *my* shelves go with the ledge around the edge on the *bottom* (â). All the photos and videos show it with the ledge on top (â), and the instructions aren’t as clear as they could be (trying to be sure which side is up in some of those kind of reminds me of an Escher drawing), but once they were turned ‘wrong’ way up… it worked. They slid right into place, right over the clips, and it went from ridiculously flimsy and wobbly to nice and sturdy.I honestly don’t care which direction the little ledge goes, so this is okay for me. It was, however, VERY frustrating, and I’m not sure how it happened. Is there some magic I should’ve done to do it the other way? The brand name is right-side-up on the shelf corners when the shelf is ledge-side-down, which makes me think that this really is how mine is meant to go. Do they have an up model and a down model and sent me the wrong one? Have they changed it recently with no change to the pics or listing? Who knows!Regardless, if you’re having trouble… trying flipping the shelves, even if every pic you see and review you read says they should be the other way. It just might fix it for you as well.(Oh, and the listing says “Assembly Required: No” which is obviously and blatantly untrue, but that was clear before I ordered it, so no surprise.)

The shelving system is virtually identical to the MESH system at Price Rite in Hong Kong with the key differences being the shelves face the wrong way to have a completely flat shelf – they have raised edges or lips and the MESH system is fully customisable for multiple sizes and numbers of shelves while this is a single pack with little customisability.Other than that it is easy to assemble and is doing the job required of it.
