Light and sturdy
I like the shape, having metric and English units. Being able to use for 4 cups is wonderful for me because I use this to brew my herbal tea bags and then add to a 2 quart pitcher to make my own blend.I like a pointer pour spout but i use a funnel to get into my jug easily.I would love to see an 8 cup made the same way as this with the glass having the same circumference all the way from bottom to top.Price could be more reasonable!We have accidentally dropped and broken 2 of these so I hope this one lasts a long time ad I use it every day.I also use it to fill my coffee pot because it is easier to pour without spilling.

Love them, but for a CON or two…
First – I love Simax products, they are designed well, not heavy but they also don’t break easily.Whilst I do love my set, there are a few things I would suggest to others who are considering purchasing these: 1) The smaller of the two (2 cup measure) gets hot as the dickens when you microwave anything. 2) The measurements are primarily in metric – so if you are not familiar with the metric system, just be aware that while the ounces ARE listed, they do not break it down into cups so you have to do some simple math every time you use it.Personally, I would suggest only buying the larger (4 cup) measure as it has a handle and the smaller amounts are still easily determined.

Doesn’t dribble all over
First off, there are a few reviews talking about how their measuring cup broke. I can’t speculate on how they used or handled it, but this is a very lightweight, thin glass. It probably will be somewhat delicate. With that in mind, I handle it carefully, hand wash it, and always set it on a hot pad when it has hot water in it. So far, so good. The great thing about it is that I can make pour-over coffee with a very slow pour, and IT DOESN’T DRIBBLE. It is also a bit taller and more slender than other 2-cup measures, so it fits easily into the cabinet.

Drip free but inaccurate
We were looking for something that doesnât drip, has a handle, and is dishwasher safe. Check check check. Unfortunately, the measurements are inaccurate. I measured out 8oz. in a Pyrex measuring cup and also weighed it on the scale. Next, poured it into this new one and it read at around 9-10oz. For making coffee, no big deal. For baking, this will suck with chemistry of ingredients. But all in all, we like it over the Pyrex which drips and over the Anchor Hocking which doesnât have a handle. The extra space of the 2 cup volume is nice when we are removing it from the microwave too. The handle is really comfortable too.

No Dribbling!
The spout pours very well unlike my Pyrex that dribbled a puddle every time I poured from it. Very happy with that feature.Very lightweight and seems sturdy. It looks like lab glassware that’s thin but very strong.Update: I’ve used this several times a day for 3 months now and I’m still very happy with it. No fading of markings, no dribbling, easy to lift weight. I’ve dinged it against the faucet several times and it’s still in one piece.I wish they’d make one for the American market with 1/4 cup increments in place of the flour and sugar grams measurements – American cups, not imperial.
