Good quality and price
This set was $9.99 at the time of ordering, which I found a very reasonable price, comparable to other brands. Yes, you can buy tongs from dollar stores for cheaper, as I did in the past and then I found myself having to replace them every few months. Either the mechanism holding them together gets damaged or the silicone tips start tearing until they finally fall off. I had 3 such tongs that were missing silicone tips and I am glad to finally be able to throw them away. I also had a pair of tongs with plastic tips and I do not recommend using plastic while handling hot food. Aside from not being very safe, the plastic gets damaged in time and I found that my tongs always had bits of food stuck at the end of the tongs, that were very hard to remove. I have also used metal tongs, which are fine for certain tasks, but they can scratch non-stick pans, so don’t do that. Wood tongs look good and are probably the safest material but they don’t really work that well.So after testing multiple styles and materials, I decided I was sticking with silicone tip tongs. This set has 3 different sizes and I use the smallest one the most often, as it works great for flipping meat during the cooking process. I have used the biggest one while grilling and it also worked great. It is the right size, unlike my previous grilling tongs, which were too big, too heavy, and difficult to handle. They do have a locking mechanism, which is good for storing, but kind of annoying when you are trying to use them. I don’t mind that these tongs don’t have the locking mechanism. I do love the “kickstand” which is very helpful especially when grilling, where I don’t have a spoon rest at hand.All three tongs worked well and were very easy to clean. They appear to be very good quality and I expect them to last a very long time. As with many other cooking utensils, try to avoid soaking them or keeping them in the sink too long in order to prolong their life.

Sturdy and Versatile Tong Set
For some reason tongs always go missing in our kitchen, so I ordered this set as replacements. Hereâs what I like about them:1) The set comes with three tongs of various sizes. The large size works well for flipping large cuts of meat and the medium size is perfect to use for tossing salads.2) The tongs have silicone coated tips so I donât have to worry about scratching the surfaces of my pans and air fryer. The sides have silicone linings with indentations to make them easier to grip.3) The large and medium tongs have little 3/4 inch kickstands that keep the tongs raised while resting, thus preventing the tong tips from touching the countertop. The kickstands donât get in the way when Iâm using the tongs.4) All three tongs have locking mechanisms to keep them closed when not in use. This allows me to store them more easily in a kitchen drawer or utensil holder.Cleaning the tongs is quick and easy. However, I donât know how theyâll hold up in the dishwasher because I wash all my silicone kitchen tools by hand.Overall, this is a nice set of kitchen tongs. They make meal preparation and serving easier for me and are the perfect addition to my kitchen utensils.

Good variety of tongs for the price
I found myself searching for the one set of kitchen tongs we have and decided it was time to pick up some more. This set of 3 tongs is a great variety for most of your kitchen needs. The silicone tips seem to be well secured and should not easily come off. The tongs themselves are easy to use and the locking mechanism seems sturdy enough for what it is. I was initially excited about the little kickstand on the larger two, but now I am not sure about them. They feel like they will get broken off quickly and they do make it harder to stack in a drawer or counter top utensil holder. Time will tell.

Good quality for the price!
I base my reviews mostly on quality versus price, like one should IMO. Our previous tong set of 2 were around $20 if I recall. I try to avoid putting things with springs and rivets in the dishwasher as eventually they’ll break down from the heat stress, like food scissors or tongs. Well the small one we used most broke right at the rivet/pivot point (most likely from being put in the dishwasher because it was the small one and lets face it, we got lazy handwashing!). SO…time to get a new set. These things ARE quality built, but the little stand tabs which are a great idea I think should be made out of metal. I anticipate these will probably break at some point, and when they do, to me it won’t be a huge deal or deal breaker for the price. Anyway, three tongs for $10 is a great price! Longevity remains to be seen of course, but now…we won’t possibly scratch our non-stick pans!

The kickstand is a cool feature!
I wasn’t sure I would like or want the kickstand feature, but I love it! It makes it so the tong ends don’t touch my counter, which I actually really like. As far as tongs go, these are decent. The “spring” in them is pretty strong, making them bounce back easily when opening/closing the tongs. The silicone tips are fine, no gouges or anything. Having three sizes is actually very nice too. Previously I only had the two larger sized tongs, but I find myself reaching for the small ones pretty often too, although they don’t have the kickstand on them. All in all these are a nice set for the price and I would recommend them. I paid this much for a single pair of name brand tongs that rusted out and broke in a year, so these are a good deal in my book.
