Works GREAT for bacon and potato chips!
We’ve used this mat to cook bacon in the oven, and also to make potato chips in the microwave. The little pyramids keep the food off the surface to keep things from getting soggy. Microwave potato chips are crispy and delicious. And the bacon…well, duh, it’s bacon! :)Be prepared that it’s a little floppy…you’ll probably need a sheet pan to get it into and out of the microwave without spilling your potato chips. But it’s PERFECT for that application.Drops in the dishwasher for effortless cleaning. Great product at a great price!

Great product
The mats are great for cooking fries, chicken nuggets and foods like that. I used mine recently to cook some coconut shrimp. The best feature is that you donât have to turn the food over for thorough cooking because everything heats evenly. Clean up is easy as you can just put it in the dishwasher. My only concern is that the mats do not come with instructions for use. I went to the manufacturerâs website and itâs recommended to not exceed 440 degrees. So I have found that foods recommended to be cooked at a higher temperature, just add a few minutes to the cooking time and you get the same results.
