Sometimes this knife feels like overkill for cutting through bread but I love it. Great quality and nice weight to it, effortlessly cuts through anything really. Love the look and size of the knife, has a nice handle. Would definitely recommend if you are in the market for a bread knife!

Jury still out.
This knife was really sharp & cut thru warm bread with ease (which is a major reason that I purchased it) the first couple of times. After using it for a few weeks, I feel like it isn’t cutting as well as it initially did. It tears the bread a bit. I know knives dull over time but not in a few weeks of minimal use. It still cuts ok, but not as impressive as the first few times. I’m not sure if it had some sort of coating on it, that made it cut cleaner, that has worn off.

Iâve been using the SHAN ZU Bread Knife, and itâs been excellent for slicing breads, cakes, and more, especially during Shabbat. At around $50 and with a $15 coupon available, itâs good value for money. The knife has a sturdy build, nice heft, and a sharp blade with a properly balanced tang and handle. Fantastic bread knife
I recently got a bread maker, and needed a good bread knife. This is a very large knife. When you see how large the blade is, you will realize what I mean. That said, it is well made, has good balance to it, and feels nice in your hand. It is offset, meaning you can cut all the way to the bottom, and your knuckles wonât be crushed on the counter. I like to keep my knives really sharp so they cut through things with ease, and I recommend you do the same, because a sharper knife is a safer knife. This comes in a beautiful package, and would make an excellent gift too.

This is a very nice bread knife. The 10″ length is good and the German Steel makes for a quality knife. The knife came very sharp and cuts all type of breads easily and smoothly. The knife is weighty and attractive. I would like to add additional pieces of this set.
