OMG they got the bagel function right!
It’s really hard to not like this toaster. This reviewer is a stickler for AC plug-in products to have a third party agency test approval. This has ETL Intertek for US and Canada, which is an acceptable rating agency that tests to UL and CUL standards. The power cord is also ETL rated 18awg 105C.Styling overall is modest, and one might say even a bit boring. Unfinished stainless is totally a fingerprint magnet, but it is clean and simple. The two long sides have slotted vent holes that you will either like or hate or maybe just forget that they’re there after a while.Yes, it has a pull out crumb tray.Yes, it has a removable warming rack which will be the first thing to be lost by anybody.Yes, it has somewhat normal toast slot sizes, fitting approximately 5.25 in long and a bit over 1.25 in thick.The excitement comes from the color touch screen end of the toaster. When powered up there are little toast symbols ranging from light to dark on the touch screen, which when touched change the value from 1 to 6 and illuminate that particular toast color setting that was selected. When toasting, there is a unique countdown timer displayed that shows the time remaining for toasting to complete. Thank goodness, they had the decency to not make it beep or ding when the toast pops up. One can always hear the toaster go clunk when the toast pops up. Don’t need to hear an evil beep from a device that seeks attention and has an overly developed sense of self-importance. It’s a toaster. And it knows it. Initial toast testing looked pretty uniform.The coup de gras for this particular toaster is that the bagel function actually works. Yes, kids. It actually only powers the outer facing elements when toasting with the bagel setting. Better yet, the bagel setting can be toggled on and off (it illuminates blue when enabled) while toasting, in case you forget to set that. The fact that the bagel setting actually works correctly should not be surprising. However only the current Cuisinart we own and this toaster, actually have worked out of the past four or five toasters that were purchased and begrudgingly returned, including some rather expensive ones. They all just seem to leave the same inner and outer elements on when the bagel setting is engaged or not. That’s not how it’s supposed to be. Bagels are intended to be toasted only on the face of the cut surface, not the back of the bagel. Apparently this has become difficult for manufacturers to achieve.But this one works.The touch screen could have been a gimmick, but it was actually executed really really well. And it doesn’t make stupid beeping sounds. And it toasts properly, including bagels.Five stars.

Perfect Toaster For Home Made Bread And Bagels
My husband makes a lot of home made bread with thick slices. We also have bagels for brunch several times a month. So we were looking for a moderately priced toaster with extra wide slots. This toaster is absolutely perfect. We put two slices of thick homemade bread on touch setting #4 and the slices came out warm and perfectly toasted on both sides. We have not tried the bagel or lower settings yet but are definitely pleased with the setting #4 for our home made bread. The toaster is sleek, nice looking and made of stainless steel. It comes with a pull out crumb catcher. So far, this toaster is a winner plus a great value for the price.

Great Toaster for All Needs
This is a a wonderful toaster for any kitchen. It is sleek and the stainless design can match any aesthetic of kitchen decor. It has an LED indicator to allow you to seamlessly change from light to dark on your toast, bagels, etc. It has wide trays for larger breads. The cleaning tray can be easily removed to clean out the toaster and keep the crumbs at bay. I really like this toaster as it does its job, is minimal in design and concept, and it looks great within my kitchen. Highly recommend!

Even toasting
This toasted our bread evenly, our old toaster was starting to puke out. This is fairly lightweight but it does get the job done. It offers quite a few shade selections so you can toast your bread exactly as desired. We tend to use #3 more often than not. The display counts down the time left to toast your bread, we like that feature. The little rack included in the box had no explanation about it’s use or function. It can be placed on top (using the slots to secure it in place) of the toaster, to keep your toast warm. The bread slot is quite small, most of our bread is too large to fit nicely in the slot.

Simple two slice extra wide toaster with warming feature
This is your basic two slice toaster for extra wide bread or long bread.It works great, does what a toaster is supposed to do and it is nice and dependable.Experiment. There are different preset options so you can get your bread just like you want it.Included is a nice accessory, a warming rack you can place on top of the toaster to keep your bed warm.I’ve only had a couple of days but it does what it is supposed to do and I like the warming feature. Highly recommended
