Fantastic travel kettle!
When traveling with the entire family plus baby, wanted to have some simple comforts of home with me. I like to bring my own coffee and be able to make baby formula on the go (vs whatever the hotel provides in-room) so I have ability for food/energy/coffee when my hours are not matching the hotel restaurant hours. This little kettle is the perfect thermos size that packs into any side area of my carry-on, takes up practically no space, power cord goes inside.It heats water fast! Much faster than the usual in-room coffee maker. Temp is also easy to adjust, although I usually just use the lowest boil setting 175F. Little reminder when it is done, auto shut off if I forget to shut it off, super easy cleanup, and looks nice. All the buzz points I wanted in a to go kettle, without being the popup kettle type I replaced. Other than that, a few months in and most of that time traveling all over, it has been a great sidekick.

I actually put in for a return as the item looked used, I couldnât decide. But I needed for a trip I was taking so I decided to take it, use it and see what I really thought about it. It worked really well for on the go. I have since decided to keep it as it heats up well. I know this item will be fine when traveling because it seems very sturdy. It doesnât overheat and so wonât burn you while holding.The only negative I would say was the appearance, it did look used, but I think it is just the finish of the heater. I didnât really buy for the looks anyway. And as long as it heats without having to worry about it not working or burning you. I am happy with the product.

Exhaust vent failed — UNSAFE!
I have used this daily since I got it almost two months ago. I have only boiled tap water, never above the fill line. Just now, when I opened it after boiling some water, the exhaust vent was apparently clogged, and I was just sprayed with steam and boiling water all up my arm as I unscrewed it.Looking at it now, the exhaust vent is clearly bulged up a little, but this is only noticeable if you specifically examine it.We don’t have hard water, and other kettles have seen years of use without any mineral buildup.Needless to say, any device that is prone to surprise scalding is going straight in the trash.tl;dr — DO NOT BUY, UNSAFE! SCALDING RISK!

Stylish and portable
I needed convenient access to hot water while away from home and this exceeded my expectations. Iâm very particular about the water temperature for my coffee and I am able to select 195F without boiling (185F and 175F are also options). It heats quickly and although I use it at its full capacity for my size cups, if you need to save water for later it will keep its temperature. Iâm glad itâs available in turquoise (Tiffany Blue) because it matches my color scheme! Itâs done well after a few weeks of use and carrying in my bag. The cord is detachable also.

I bought this for a trip to Europe where I did not have an in-room coffee maker or kettle. It is absolutely perfect for the job, Heats about two cups of water in about 6-7 minutes. The best thing is that it pours without dripping. Not one drip. It saved the day. It also seems well made as I dropped it a few times and it held up.

Sekaer cup kettle. This unit was bought for traveling and we have also been using it for tea and instant coffee at home. It takes about 5 minutes to boil a large cup of water with its 500 watt rating. We have found it is better than heating water in the microwave since the heating is much more even compared to a microwave that seems to stratify the water when heating. Does not leak, even if turned upside down , which makes it great for traveling in a vehicle without worry about spilling hot contents. Note although the surface of the unit can be handled without getting burned , it would not keep hot water very hot for long. In that case a thermos would be needed for keeping the liquid hot for longer. We love the water heating unit and have used it every day
