I looked for quality, light weight, storage containers that could go from the microwave to the refrigerator. These are it! I’ve boiled rice for 20 minutes in the microwave and no rippling or melting. I’ve stored salads and meatloaf in the refrigerator and they work beautifully. Love the lid vent and how the lid just pushes on with a secure seal. I was hesitant because my last Rubbermaid with red tops melted in the microwave and felt cheap. I looked for Tupperware that could do the trick, but they were too pricey and I still wasn’t sure they would work like their older versions. I’m glad Amazon search brought me to these! They have a low profile so fit in the cupboards and refrigerator really well. Tip: stacked in groups of different sizes since they’re hard to remove from each other if you stack the same sized together. (See cupboard photos). I definitely recommend.

I recently made my third purchase of these food storage containers, and I can confidently say that I find nothing wrong with them. Great for produce prep
I bought these to try them out and see how the compare to my Ello brand glass meal prep containers. I wasn’t thrilled with them being plastic but they are quite sturdy and well made. I actually prefer these over the Ello. Why? The lid has more area to grab on to lift it off, the seal pushes out air so the food stays fresher longer, they are light weight, and only have 2 locks instead of 4.Having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome with finger/wrist issues, these lids fit right in and I don’t have to wrestle with the seal and lid not sitting right so the lid locks. I also don’t have to press down hard to get the lid to lock. The locks are easy to grab as well and lift up into open position.I did have one lid sealed too right and it was hard to open so note that if you have limited mobility with your fingers, hands, and wrists, these may not be the best product for you. It took me a bit to get the lid off as it was the end of the day and my joints were done.I love how these stack in the fridge and they don’t take up a lot of space.I do hand wash my containers so the harsh detergent doesn’t ruin the plastic or rubber seal.I am using mine to prep produce for quick lunches and snacks. These would also be great for meal prep.

Everyone in my house is neurodivergent. We all have a combination of ADHD, ASD, hyper mobility and dexterity and coordination issues. As a result we have more unique and complex needs and require accessibility aids. One area we struggle with is cooking, meal prep and eating. To help I prep all our produce and fruit by washing and cutting to make snacking and cooking as easy as possible (for us it has to be assessable and ready to go or we will often avoid it). Because of this I need to use containers to store the prepared food. I also needed them for left overs of course. I was using Pyrex glass containers with plastic coloured lids but they weren’t meeting our needs. We needed containers we could see though (if we can’t see it we forget it exists), that would be easy to store and find the correct lids (to avoid frustration and clutter), and they had to be easy to open and close (many snap style lids are too difficult to close and open with our dexterity issues). But I was doubtful the perfect containers existed.These containers seemed like the best option. A coworker brought them for lunch and I thought they may be worth trying. I ordered a set and quickly regretted not doing it much much sooner!These are perfect for us. Perfectly clear from all angles, easy stacking, dishwasher safe, leak proof etc. I especially like that the lids can fit a few different sizes so you don’t have to find the exact lid for a bin. I also can label them easily with a chalk pen and then wash it right off.So far they have worked for left overs, meal prep, and had a few runs in the dishwasher and microwave with no issues. They have made our daily life easier and for people with neurodiversity that’s everything.I plan to acquire a few more sets in the sizes I use the most and I don’t see myself changing bins anytime soon.
