Most versatile container ever!
I looked for quality, light weight, storage containers that could go from the microwave to the refrigerator. These are it! Iâve boiled rice for 20 minutes in the microwave and no rippling or melting. Iâve stored salads and meatloaf in the refrigerator and they work beautifully. Love the lid vent and how the lid just pushes on with a secure seal. I was hesitant because my last Rubbermaid with red tops melted in the microwave and felt cheap. I looked for Tupperware that could do the trick, but they were too pricey and I still wasnât sure they would work like their older versions. Iâm glad Amazon search brought me to these! They have a low profile so fit in the cupboards and refrigerator really well. Tip: stacked in groups of different sizes since theyâre hard to remove from each other if you stack the same sized together. (See cupboard photos). I definitely recommend.

I got this set during the Black Friday sale to replace my current food storage. It was 34% off, although I have seen it as low as 50% during a prime day sale. I am very happy with it so far. The longevity will matter, but speaking on current usage, this set is great. It’s better than any of my other food storage by a mile. I worry about it being complicated and therefore likely to fail in the future, but I’ll adjust my rating if and when that occurs.The triton plastic is very clear. Allows you to see the contents well. I’ve only handwashed so far. I’ll see the dishwasher affects the clarity over time. It has not stained in the slightest yet.The seal is excellent. I have no doubt that it’s fairly leakproof. The mechanism to lock it are very positive. I’m never uncertain if the top is closed.The pieces nest together quite nicely, taking up minimal space in my cabinet. I did need to use a separate bin for the lids though.Unless this has some early failure, I would definitely purchase this again.

Absolutely THE BEST food storage solution
Love love love Rubbermaid Premier food storage containers. I wish they were more readily availableâ I really donât understand. So glad Amazon offers these three combinations of sizes. These containers have lasted me 10+ years and finally some have developed hairline cracks so leak liquid. I think thatâs a very reasonable lifespan. I appreciate theyâre lightweight yet sturdy and very easy to clean. They do not absorb food stains. Remain clear. They are the BEST food storage containers available. Oh and they store so well- stack without sticking together. Lids fit two size containers each. These are wonderful.

Great for produce prep
I bought these to try them out and see how the compare to my Ello brand glass meal prep containers. I wasn’t thrilled with them being plastic but they are quite sturdy and well made. I actually prefer these over the Ello. Why? The lid has more area to grab on to lift it off, the seal pushes out air so the food stays fresher longer, they are light weight, and only have 2 locks instead of 4.Having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome with finger/wrist issues, these lids fit right in and I don’t have to wrestle with the seal and lid not sitting right so the lid locks. I also don’t have to press down hard to get the lid to lock. The locks are easy to grab as well and lift up into open position.I did have one lid sealed too right and it was hard to open so note that if you have limited mobility with your fingers, hands, and wrists, these may not be the best product for you. It took me a bit to get the lid off as it was the end of the day and my joints were done.I love how these stack in the fridge and they don’t take up a lot of space.I do hand wash my containers so the harsh detergent doesn’t ruin the plastic or rubber seal.I am using mine to prep produce for quick lunches and snacks. These would also be great for meal prep.
