I use to portion out meals & freeze for later use. Really helps for people with busy lives. Only issue us it will stain with tomato sauce and of you drop it while frozen or right out of freezer it will shatter. Still re- heats okay in microwave ( I get marks inside bottom from microwave over 2 minutes ). I like the ‘ houses mart seller & best is AMAZON WHEN THEY HAVE THEM. ) I MISS THE TEAL OR BLUE COLOR LIDS ð¢. BUT THIS SO FAR IS BEST PRICE SET OF 8 FOR APX $12.00. AND THEY DON’T TAKE UP MUCH ROOM IN FREEZER, I NEVER HAD LEAKS, GREAT SEAL ( NO FROST I SIDE CONTAINERS) AND ARE RE-USEABLE EVEN AFTER FROZEN-THAW-HEAT IN MICROWAVE.

Not *quite* as described
I was looking for the older style of these containers with the red translucent lids. Thatâs what was pictured when I purchased these – and I asked âRufusâ the robotic question answerer if thatâs what these were. (It said yes). Sadly, these are actually the new version with shiny opaque red lids. They are not as flexible or durable as the old style & I donât like them as much for that reason. Also, one could buy these more inexpensively at a local store⦠That said, they are still a perfect size for storing smallish amounts of leftovers, or for taking lunch portions for work or school.

Great for storing and re-heating!
These Rubbermaid plastic containers are amazing for storing and re-heating without dirtying a bunch of dishes. I can meal prep for the week and take one of these to work, pop it in the microwave with the lid vented, eat out of it, and then take it home and throw it in the dishwasher! I highly suggest you get some of these (preferably in the bigger size) if you meal prep or have leftovers because they are just so versatile.
