Great accidental dog food dishes!
I bought several of these originally to make and freeze mini quiches. In the end, the pie pans turned into dog food dishes for our two medium-sized dogs. We feed our dogs raw food and mix in some supplement powders that are easy to mix in with the sloped sides of the pie pan. These clean easy and multiples of the pie pans fit well in our dishwasher due to how shallow/slim they are. Despite mixing up the dog food and supplements with a stainless butter knife, the pie pans aren’t too marked up. We have 12 total to get us through using 4 dishes per day and waiting for the dishwasher to be full enough to run. As these are pie pans and not really dog dishes, these do slide around a little on the floor when the dogs eat. We, however, do plan to create a feeding station for the dogs, so we’ll cut a hole in the planned shelf that will allow us to drop the bowls in and be held in place by the lip of the pie pan; that will eliminate the sliding factor in the future. I would recommend these for feeding raw or wet food up to maybe 8 oz of food. If you are feeding just dry food, probably 1.5 cups would fit. If you have to mix dry food with wet, I think it would work well with dry food that is smaller/more pellet like, as trying to mix bulkier dry food with some wet might overwhelm the shallow pie pan and cause spillage. These would make good cat food dishes too, but actually might be too big.

Good quality
This is good, heavy duty little pie pan. It will be perfect for an individual pie.

Nice option for gluten free cooking
My husband is gluten free, dairy free, and diabetic. One of the things I do is cook him cakes and muffins and other desserts periodically so he doesn’t have to totally do without. In my experience, the gluten-free cakes and other desserts that I have cooked in large pans just don’t cook well in the middle. I cook them long enough; they just don’t cook with in larger pans. So, I got these pans in an effort to cook desserts for my husband that cook well.
These pans do really well for me. The smaller size works really well for this type of dessert. The things that I have cooked have been cooked evenly and have come out well. I spray the pan before I put things in it and nothing has stuck. Overall, I’m really pleased with this pan.

Great for little pies
I always have a little extra pie crust and these little pans are great for that purpose. They also make nice sized meals for pot pie or a good amount of dessert for my husband and I to share. Nice and sturdy.

Great Choice for Air Fryer
I recently purchased a Black + Decker air fryer and was afraid the sets of accessories available on Amazon and elsewhere would not fit. Instead I purchased a this 6″ pie pan (and a 6″ cake pan and cooling rack). Together they cost much less than the accessory sets, and fit my air frier perfectly–just enough room for air circulation. This pan feels like a good quality pan. I am happy with my purchase.

The Perfect Sized Pie Pan
Excellent quality stainless steel pie pans. Heavy gauge for their size. My wife likes them for not only fruit pies , but for “pot pies”. She wanted four initially, but then we ordered 6 more. When she gets into her baking mood, she can make several at a time and then freezes them. When its time to defrost them, she puts them into the oven and bakes them. The dough turns out flaky, and the contents are perfect. And, they are just the right size.

Wow. Definitely not 2 inches deep.
Maybe Amazon could do a little better on their fact checking on these products. Good pan and I like it, but it is actually only 1.25 deep. Quite a difference from 2 inches. Nice quality sturdy pan, but felt I was overcharged since they are smaller in depth by a full 1/2 inch than the description stated. They are, however, a full 6 inches across.
