Gorgeous bowl, and this 0.8 qt size is perfect for a lot of things. I use it daily to mix up scrambled eggs…this size handles 3 or 4 eggs quite nicely, and the shape allows you to whip the eggs without them sloshing out as would happen with a shallower bowl. Admittedly rather overpriced, I still sprang for it because of the unique size and shape, which I hadn’t seen with any other brand. Beautiful and well made like all Rosle products, it’s a gorgeous stainless (shiny inside) and surprisingly heavy and solid for the size.

I got the 1.6 liter bowl and it is just the right size for creaming a good amount of air into one stick of butter (for a half batch of cookies) or for whipping half a cup of cream with a hand-held electric mixer.

I bought this to use in my pressure cooker when cooking grains and legumes. It works perfectly. The bowl is very solid. I agree with another reviewer that the edges of the bowl can seem a bit sharp as the steel is thin where it folds down, but it’s not bad enough for me to lower my score down to three stars. All in all I’m very happy with this bowl – it met my needs perfectly.
