Awesome … but way over-priced
I searched high and low for an easy way to move a heavy refrigerator and range across newly installed porcelain tile without marking or cracking it. I have a 2 wheel dolly … too much weight concentrated in two areas (wheel contact areas) and a risk of dropping the heavy refrigerator while putting it in place (front and one side access only at install location). I have the furniture mover round plastic disks (moved a heavy piano once with those on carpet with 4 people), but that would be tough to get them out once at the installed location and getting them onto the tile (over the tile edge lip), was worried about marking the surface and the force to move the heavy refrigerator. Lifting straps (two person lift) would not work – install location had only front and one side access, plus with the refrigerator (largest residential Samsung 400+ Lbs) being so heavy, I would have had to hire someone to move it. I saw this. Hunted and hunted for a place to rent one. No dice.I took the financial plunge and bought it. Works pretty much as advertised. For the 400+Lb refrigerator, it took both hands and some effort to move it still. I needed help only because it the big heavy frig was a little awkward to turn while also holding the blower. Not a major amount of effort was needed though. I thought this product was fantastic, but a little too pricey. It did the job as advertised. I would not advise using this for carpeting though. The vinyl strips they supply are a little short for shuffling them in front of each other while the lift is active. If you buy it for that, invest in some of that hardboard/fiberboard from your home improvement store, set that on the carpet, then move your heavy furniture on top of the hardboard. Guys … if you cut the hardboard correctly, you can then use it for the top of your bench afterwards. The bag carrying case is REAL flimsy and does not hold shape. I had to box the blower back up into it’s shipping box and put that in the bag (as how it was shipped) and then the flimsy carrying bag could hold it’s desired boxy shape. The shipping box was tore in two places, but the product was not damaged – no packing material inside of the product shipping box. Great, great product (and so cool to show people) but I wish it was about half the $399 price I paid. Looking to rent it out to friends to make back some of that money. Once I get hardwood floors in my dining room, this will also come in real handy for moving heavy furniture across the wood floor. The product appears to be made out of good durable materials, but time will tell. This is wordy, but hopefully you get something out of this review for the “Cadillac” of furniture mover devices. [Thumbs up!]

ONE OF THE GREATEST INVENTIONS OF OUR TIME
This product is fantastic. I moved with ease single handedly the largest stackable washer dryer combination on the market today. LG Electronics makes a 5.2 cu ft washer and a 9 cu ft dryer. Together they must weigh less than 250 lbs, but they are bulky and cannot be moved alone. This ingenious product allows a thin bladder to inflate and slide on a hard surface floor. If you have carpet and wish to move heavy furniture, it comes with thin flexible plastic sheets to allow the load to glide over the surface. Don’t try to use it on carpet without the plastic to cut friction. One big bonus, the Canadian manufacturer will give you a 2 year warranty whereas the US distributor only gives 90 days. The instructions contain all the info you need to learn how to do it. It’s easy. The hardest part is getting the feet on my washer to loosen up so I can adjust them. No fault of this manufacturer. Works as advertised.

Great idea in theory, not worth the money!
Purchased item to help slide appliances into place with causing floor damage. Easy to inflate but definitely does not help item “glide” across floor. Appliance being moved was less than weight limit and air glide didn’t do the job. Not worth the money.

This thing is amazing – works almost like magic
We bought an almost 800 pound range and once it was delivered, had no way to move it into place, much less do any fine-tuning to get it set perfectly centered in the kitchen cabinet space we had built for it. Enter this air glider. Wow – yeah, you have to hold on and steer whatever you’re moving, but it makes it almost effortless for one person to move something huge like that range. We’ve since used it to move a pallet loaded with other kitchen items, an old and a new refrigerator, and a wooden mule chest. It moves everything with aplomb, though it is a little more challenging (read: requires a bit of pushing, and you have to keep putting the thin sheets of plastic that come with it down) to go over non-smooth surfaces like cement or surfaces like decking, which of course has spaces between the boards. Still works, though. This thing is just awesome.

This thing works great.
This thing works great.I had to install a Subzero Refrigerator (700 lbs) in a location where I had to approach from the side on top of a prefinished hardwood floor. I made my own adapters to work under a subzero and when I turned this thing on the Refrigerator raised up a bit and then glided into place. I have since used it on other appliances and bookcases. It worked perfectly in all instances. Worth every dime to avoid scratching gouging and otherwise damaging expensive flooring.

Top of 100 tool
Great tool. I just wish they made a mountain-moving model, too. Easy setup, easy to use. Read the instructions to benefit most from this equipment. Great for moving loaded refrigerators without damaging expensive flooring. For what it does, it’s definitely on my list of Top 100 tools I own and use.

This made moving are equipment around so easy. Usually it would take 4-5 guys to move the equipment and countless hours, but with this glider we had the job done in 30 minutes. It has a bit of a learning curve because the instructions to move over different surface is very vague. Otherwise I would totally recommend this product.
