This was ordered with the kitchen of our rental suite in mind. When it arrived I noted its light weight due to its materials and design as described in the Amazon listing. I showed it to my wife, who surprised me. She said she likes its light weight compared to the (two) other similar roasting pans we have, both heavily enameled cast iron. You probably know their Euro brand names.She said those are nice pieces but she is finding them too heavy for cleaning and even moving into and out of the oven when full of foods. She is nearing 80 years, and as her occasionally usefuI husband, had not thought about that. So this new pan now sits nearby in our primary kitchen. It was used for Thanksgiving, and again she gave it high marks for ease of use.It may not have the heat-absorbing and retaining qualities of the heavy pans, but its materials can also “weigh” in its favor!

I was desperately in need of a new roasting pan before the holiday season. This roasting pan is fantastic!Itâs extremely well made and not thin metal at all. Itâs plenty large for a chicken or turkey. I like the coating inside that makes it easy to clean. It doesnât leave any weird flavors.Super easy to use and definitely worth the money!

Nice solid pan
This is a very reasonably priced, solid roasting pan that does a great job. It provides even cooking and it’s capacity is fantastic, especially given the price. The red color is lovely as well. It’s not so large that it isn’t easily stored somewhere, which is really nice for someone with a smaller kitchen like mine. Definitely recommend!

Great size!
This is the perfect size for a large chicken or a 15 lb turkey. It has a rack for the inside that the bird can sit on and ensures that it browns up evenly. I wouldn’t go much larger than 15 lbs though. It says it will hold up to a 17 lb turkey, but I feel like that would be crammed in and not give any room on the sides. I like that the handles are all riveted and that the lid fits the base snug and secure. I really like the non-stick interior on both the pan and the lid. I cooked a chicken in it and none of the veggies stuck to the surface. So that’s already a win. Plus, the non-stick interior made washing it out a breeze. It doesn’t really fit into my dishwasher very well, so the fact that the non-stick surface makes everything come off easily while hand-washing is a big plus.

Lighter weight material
With the rack in, the lid cannot fit securely over a 14 lb turkey. I also expected it to be heavier or to be a thicker material for the price paid. I will see how it bakes the 14 lb turkey
