This catcher works for quiches too
I bought this so that I could place my quiches on it to bake and I found that itâs easy to pour the egg mixture into the quiche dish/piecrust and not worry that itâll spill over into the oven. Works just great and cleans up nicely. I like it.

Gave it four stars only because there may be one even better out there???Itâs actually sturdier than one Iâve had for several years and made of thicker material. I suggest always using two hands if placing in oven with the pie already seated on tray.Worked as needed. Washed up OK though I did have a pretty major pumpkin pie spill, and I had to scrub a smidge on the creases to get that out, but I that was operator error, not necessarily a defect in the finish.Some reviews mentioned not being able to get two of these on an oven rack at the same time. Once I carefully adjusted my drip trays so the fluted edges nestled together, mine were snug, but did OK.Itâs always tough with liquid pies. Had I remembered to put the drip trays in first and then carefully set the pies on top and then push the oven rack back in, I wouldâve been OK.

Despite this being an expensive pan with expensive shipping, the pan is dented, does not sit flat, and some of the black paint on it is scratched off. I will not be purchasing from this seller again. I do not recommend this product.

The idea of the plate is great and it does the job. The problem is that it’s slippery. The pie plate slides when you lift the tray out of the oven. It catches the drips as it should and the pie cooks inside the hole.You just have to be very careful using it.
