I decided to take on the challenge of preparing my grandsonâs first birthday smash cake. It wasnât my first attempt at cake decorating, but it was my first important one! I mostly ordered the set for the turntable, the rest was merely lagniappe. Considering I already had a set of tips (plastic) & such, I didnât think I needed any of the other provided accessories. But it was a great price and had the cake cutter & turn table that I needed, so I went ahead and bought the set. Thankfully so!!! Not only were the tips provided much better quality, there was a book included that showed what each tip would create. Theyâre also labeled with numbers , unlike my plastic ones, which was a guessing game when choosing which to use. Given the myriad of tips to choose from, youâre bound to up your decorating game with this kit. The spatulas were an accessory that I didnât realize I needed until I used them. There are 2 different types, both of which are helpful in the decorating process. The cake cutter was very useful & helped level layers with ease. I was pleased with this tool as well. Above and beyond all the tools Iâve listed there are also a good amount of pastry bags provided. There are a few items that I havenât even had a chance to check out yet & a helpful cleaning brush. Iâm sure Iâm forgetting to mention something, but surely given all I have discussed youâve decided to purchase the set. The price is fair, if not good considering all that comes in the kit. So whether youâre an experienced cake decorator or just getting started, this kit will bring your skills to the next level! Makes even the most amateur decorator feel like a pro! This is a great investment & if youâre like me, youâll be baking cakes âjust becauseâ. My original cake was a huge success & Iâve made another one because it was a Tuesday that was just as pretty! ð The only thing missing in this kit, which I mention because I had to create my own is a cake board. Not to say that it should be included, but for a newbie reading this (like I was) I wish I wouldâve been reminded that it was needed. Otherwise, everything you need to create a beautifully decorated cake is provided in this fairly priced cake decorating set.

It’s a “beginners” cake decorating set, but with what this set contains, your cake game will take a HUGE step forward. No, it’s not professional quality. But it’s a cost effective way to get a big step down that road. Between the tools and the book and video you get for free, you will learn all sorts of tricks and tips to move from neophyte baker to cake master. The spinning table is amazingly stable, and the quality of the tools, even the plastic ones, is quite good. You’ll have more than enough nozzles to learn decorating techniques, bags to use and various tools to practice with. If you wonder if cake decorating is in your future, this is a cheap and fun way to learn! I would recommend it highly.

Great for beginners!
This was a great begginers kit that really starts tou with the basics. Now it wasn’t as helpful when it came to the cake leveler thing (shows my skill level obviously lol) which didn’t work well. I wish the cake smoothing things were bigger since I was doing a bigger cake, but you can’t beat the price. This is for smaller cakes and frosting decorating mostly. Also the star of the kit is the cake spinner and the crazy amount of frosting tips. Like endless frosting tips. Definitely good for not super ambitious beginners. Great quality for the price.

Great kit for cake decorating
Got this for my sonâs birthday as he loves to bake and decorate. So we made 2 homemade cakes from scratch so far and used items in this kit for perfecting the cakes decorations. The first cake turned out to look almost like a professional bakery cake. When presented at a friendâs birthday party, party goers were impressed! One down side I notice is the pipping bag isnât the best but itâs functional. It comes with a little bag for easy storage for small parts. Very easy to clean. Also comes with a decorating guide book which is somewhat helpful. Overall itâs a good kit for future bakery artists or diy desserts/cakes, makes a great gift and great for kids and adults!

am i a professional? no. but thats okay, this set still gives me everything i need to do alright. i grew up with a grandma that loved decorating cakes and was definitely better than i was. all her piping tips and bags were very used and by the time i could have them, rusted….so im very happy to have my own! sooo many tip shapes, big and small ones! i like the spatula a lot. reusable and disposable piping bags! feels like a very good kit to get into cake decorating.

Turntable was hard to use, cake cutter sucks, the spatulas were cool. Honestly worth the bundle because I got it on sale, if I had to buy again I might look somewhere else but its fine enough if you’re in a pinch
