Easy heat for cold granny feet
My 92 year old mom in law loves when I hear these up in the microwave for her ice cubed little feet. This woman is cold when the house is a stifling 76 degrees, so in order to maintain my cool ( pun intended), I got her these and a shawl made from the same stuff. Just pop them in the microwave (the two slippers first, then the shawl) for 90 seconds each, and granny is happy and can turn the heat down to a manageable 72. Whew! These donât have a lot of stretch, but they really arenât for walking around in. They fit snugly due to the Velcro strap-like closure. Zero issues with them falling off. They wash well, they hold up well, they do the job. Iâd say I got my moneyâs worth. They are soft and a pretty shade of purple. Mom likes them, and they wash abd dry well. They seem durable and I think they will last her a good long while as long as she doesnât wear them like regular shoes or go outside to feed chickens in them. It was a good buy.

Comfy, heated booties sure do the trick
Wow! Toasty and warm with a nice amount of fluff. Velcro closure keeps them on. Just pop the entire bootie in the microwave for about 2 min and put them on your chilly tootsies. Stays warm for quite awhile. These are not slippers; heated seeds are in the bottom soles of booties. The seeds do smell a bit when heated, but not bad. I love these booties to conquer winter time cold feet.

I want to say that these are amazing. My feet are always cold, even in the summer. I’m a size 10 and the small/medium fit perfectly. If you are a shoe size bigger you will need to go to the large-xtra large. I microwave mine for 1 minute 20 seconds and they are perfectly warm and stay warm for the night. I have to admit that they are NOT for walking around. The sand that’s in them makes bumps that aren’t comfortable to walk on. So, you have to know that you’re going to be relaxing when you heat them up. That’s not to say that they’re impossible to walk in, they’re just a little lumpy when you do. If you are in the market for microwaveable slippers, buy these, you won’t regret it.

Well, first let me say that these booties are an excellent idea. The women in our family seem always to have cold hands and feet, no matter the season so I was excited to give these as gifts. However, the first problem we encountered was that we received 2 of the same foot (left, I think it is) instead of a left foot and a right foot. And while they do a fair job of keeping feet warm, the Velcro doesn’t stay well fastened closed, so if you try & walk around, they’re constantly falling off.But here’s the BIG clencher: my mom put them in the microwave for one minute today and after only *20 seconds* they both caught fire! Fortunately, the flicker of the flames caught her eye and she immediately opened the microwave, pulled out the glass carrousel they were sitting on and was able to snuff out the flames on both. But an 80-year old shouldn’t be faced with this kind of hazard. Obviously, no one should. BTW I’d say these get used 2-3 times a week, which doesn’t seem excessive to me, and we’ve had them less than 2 months. We’ve logged the concern with Amazon CS. If you buy these, be extra vigilant when warming them.

I love these booties! I bought a S/M and they fit perfect. I figured out the perfect warming time was 1 minute 15 seconds, and they stay warm for a long time. These are perfect!!
