Great Drink Glass for Kids
We were at my sister-in-law when I first saw these glasses. I hadn’t ever seen these restaurant style plastic glasses in the 12 ounce size having both 16 and 20 ounce glasses at home. The larger size glasses are just a bit too big for the small hands of our grandchildren to adequately handle without an “ooppps” or inadvertently tipping the taller glasses over at meal time. The smaller 12 oz. size are much better, are still stackable and most importantly safe for kids to handle unattended. We also like them ourselves for meal times as the amount they hold is much more a single serving without having to only half fill the glasses or so. I can’t speak to the durability of these glasses yet as we have only had them a short while. They are thinner walled than our larger glasses and they, overtime, develop vertical cracks, normally from the lip of the glass down, and need to be tossed. With that said, pretty happy with this purchase and as the set comes as 24, have plenty of spares if/when they do develop cracks.

12oz Clear cups
Ordered another brand of these cups in the 12oz size and clear and twice they arrived cracked or broken and in places that it did not happen in transit. They were shipped to Amazon that way. I found this brand and the cups are thicker and seem more sturdy than the others and even ones that we bought locally. I was a little leery when they arrived because they shipped in a bubble mailer instead of a box, but none were cracked upon opening the package. The 12oz size is perfect for big or small hands and they wash up really well.

But I love them anyway. They’re nostalgic! Pizza birthday parties all through elementary school! They bounce when you drop them, they’re nearly indestructible, soda tastes colder in these tumblers! They’re just a fun stroll through memory lane and I was thrilled to find.out you could just buy them!

I just purchased these and they are a lot more flexible(bad thing) compared to the ones I bought last year and these only weight 52 grams vs my older ones of 60 grams (15% less). These are not dishwasher save and just feel really cheap compared to last year’s. This seller really downgraded the cup quality. I will be returning
