They are ramekins
I have some 6 oz ramekins, but have need for a larger size. I ordered these for the ramekins, not the lids. However, the lids are a great extra. No stretching plastic wrap over the top! I have used them primarily to hold hot food. After cooling, into the fridge. Some went to the freezer. I was a bit aprehensive about going from freezer to microwave, so I did let it sit out for a bit. I removed the lid (don’t forget to pop the vacuum lid), then defrosted at 30% for a few minutes. So far, so good.I have read several reviews about the lids and can honestly say I have had no spillage and they fit just fine.I would buy these in the 6 ounce if they had them!

Slightly disappointed
I was so excited to get these. However, I was quickly deflated when I open the box and every ramekin was filthy on the inside. Okay, no problem. I was going to wash them anyway. But one lid is completely scratched up, inside and out and it doesnât suction to the ramekin..it just wiggles loosely and lifts up. Thereâs no way to âfixâ it, so I wonât be able to use all 6 ramekins and lids simultaneous and Iâll always be one lid short ð©

So Versatile, Love the Lids!
Our family frequently has dinner together and I have small bowls I’ve picked up here and there that don’t match that we use for taco bars, hamburger fixings, etc. I also use them for melting butter, chocolate, etc in the microwave. I finally have a cohesive set, perfect for all of it! The vented lids are fantastic! Being able to melt butter in the microwave with a lid on and the vent up keeps me from having to clean the microwave afterwards. I can prepare things for the taco bar ahead (like the salsa, sour cream, onions, jalepenos, etc) and put them all in the fridge with the lids on. These only take up a small space in the cabinet or fridge when stacked and look really nice on my bar as serving bowls. Not stark white, they’re a creamy white.
