I was looking for a lemon zester, and the Rainspire model had the best reviews for the price. I’ve used it to zest a lemon to use for baking. It worked very well and seems very sharp. I like the length because I could set it across a large mixing bowl. The grater and frame is made from sturdy steel, and I like the feel of the handle, which has a rubber or silicone coating that gives a little and makes it easy to grip. It was fairly easy to clean as well; granted, I was only rinsing lemon peel. All told it was a good value for the price â I was able to find it on sale.

Good basic zester/microplaner
Good basic zester that puts up with me banging it on the cutting board to get all the zest off it. The microplaner blades just cut in one direction, which actually makes it easier to clean.
