As a retired Chef – there is really no such thing as “retired”
so having these great tools at hand and keeping one tacked inside the picnic basket is a joy to have at hand no matter where I am. This is the best and sharpest thing in my kitchen these days. I love my Japanese knives, my German knives and my Gerbers but these little jewels slice without effort and I suspect they honed themselves because I use my steel only when I am doing the others which is not often and the Radas are always sharp. Best thing about them beside the ease of use? They are made here at home. And they are made to last. I don’t work for the company, I have never in nearly 45 years in the food industry have I ever endorsed a product. This is not an endorsement, just simply sharing something that works and works extremely well and it is easy to hold, light in weight but with not in quality. I have been giving them as gifts and the young ones are in awe with both the tomatoes’ slicer and the bread knife. So was I when I first got them and I am still convinced that in spite of having so many other tools in my kitchen those two are still my favorites.

    Everyone has their favorite knife…
For many years I had a favorite paring knife with its tiny little micro-serrated edge, and I’m pretty sure I dumped it into the trash can by mistake as I was scraping peels from a cutting board to throw away. I was not able to find the exact same knife to replace it, but THIS ONE is the same size and has the same architecture, if you will, and has now become my favorite. It’s much sharper, of course, since it’s newer, so it must have been time to replace that old favorite anyway. This knife is perfect for paring and peeling, even smooth skinned items such as tomatoes. I have been told to never use a knife on a wooden or bamboo cutting board, so I use the plastic cutting boards, even though they need to be replaced more often, and I always hand wash my knives and put them back in their sleeves/sheaths when not in use. This one is just the right size, good solid weight balance, and excellent cutting ability.

    Super sharp little kitchen knife
The reason I’m posting this is the knife blade is small but it makes up for it in sharpness.Cuts clean and is a pleasure to use in the kitchen. I have more expensive knives but wish they could cut like this little gem!

I am left-handed. The main use of this knife to me is to peel lemon for juice. it put my other serrated knifes to shame for my daily use.Lots of other viewer has mentioned it is good for both hand, but I think it may be even better for left handed people. What I hope for future improvement: the handle could be longer/larger using plastic material with a full tang, though I do like the metal handle. Also hope the bade could be couple centimetres longer.

The knife is beautiful however these are not dishwasher safe at all. Handles turn black and makes hands dirty after first washing.
