Excellent, Sturdy Set
This is a great set that I highly recommend. I’ve had this set for several months now, and here are my thoughts:Mixing Bowls: They stack nicely and save space well. I’ve used them with a hand-mixer and they’ve held up exceptionally well, with little to no marks whatsoever. I haven’t put them in a dishwasher (because I don’t have one), but they hand-wash easily with absolutely no problem. I’ve mixed bread dough, sticky glazes, cakes, you name it and they’ve performed with no problem, leave no unusual taste or odor to the mixtures, and I use them most of the time now over my other mixing bowls. As far as weight, they are pretty heavy; definitely lighter than glass, but notably heavier than metal or plastic bowls. The rubber on the bottom is really thick and grips well to the countertop, so using the hand-mixer with them is great and the bowl doesn’t move at all. Additionally, the handle sticking out makes it easier to use them with the hand-mixer too I’ve found; a convenient little feature that I thought would be an annoyance but I actually use all the time. As far as this set goes, I am a family of 2, so this set is a great size for my needs as my meals aren’t quite as large most times; larger family’s may find the size of the bowls in this set too small (2/3/4 qt) for their cooking needs, and may need multiples of the 4 and 5 qt bowls instead (which are sold in their own set). Just something to consider. That being said, I do frequently make larger meals for leftovers and to freeze, since both of us work; recipes for a family of 4-6, for example. And even still, most of the time I use the 3 and 4 qt bowls and have no need for larger bowls. On occasion though, I do still need a larger bowl; because of this, I will be purchasing the 4/5 qt set for the larger 5 qt bowl, since i do love the way these bowls perform. They really are amazing bowls. The material of the bowls is thick and sturdy, and hasn’t warped/misshapen due to hot or cold liquids or mixtures being inside them (including boiling water).Ramekins: I actually didn’t think I’d use these very much as I’m not a ‘meal prep’ kind of cook, but I actually use these little guys all the time. Their sizes make them very versatile for a number of purposes that kind of surprised me. The largest of the bowls works great for mixing melted butter with herbs to spread over hot rolls and breads (note: you don’t use it to melt the butter in the microwave as this set isn’t microwave safe). The smaller ones I use for holding my mixture of various herbs and spices for tossing into sauces and dishes later, so I don’t have to ‘spoon and dump’ from a dozen different jars while I’m cooking. Turns out these little ramekins turned me into a ‘meal prep’ cook after all. Who would have guessed. They nest/stack great and take up little to no space. They clean easily; again, I hand-wash since there’s no dishwasher. They are very lightweight, but of thick and sturdy material. As mentioned, I’ve put hot liquids in them (melted butter and other liquids) and they have not warped or been damaged by this. I’ve had honey and other sticky things, which I’ve scraped out, and they have held up well with little to no sign of wear or damage by various utensils.Spatulas: They’re spatulas. I can’t say much about them other than they do their job and are very sturdy and well made. I do like them, quite a lot; but they’re really not unremarkable that I can otherwise say. They clean very easily (again, hand-washing), and are heavy in the hand compared to most cheaply made spatulas, which is a feature that I do like about them. They haven’t melted or warped from high-heat dishes or liquids. They’re very nice spatulas, and I can tell that they will be around for quite some time as opposed to many of my other cheaper spatulas that have long since gone to the kitchen graveyard; may they rest in culinary grace.Final Thoughts: Overall, this set has proven to be remarkably well made and useful, and I’d say it’s absolutely worth the money (at the time of writing this). I’m a middle-aged woman with too many burdens and no time; this is a cruel and heartless world, and my kitchenware is not exempt from the unrelenting agony that all of us must endure. I’m certainly hard on kitchenware, because I don’t have the time to sit and enjoy it; to caudal it – I need everything in my kitchen to perform at the hectic pace that my own life runs at, sturdy and repetitive. This set has certainly withstood that grueling, grinding pace of cooking and cleaning, rinse and repeat. And I can only commend it for it’s efforts and service; and highly recommend it to others.

Best mixing bowls ever
These just arrived and I couldn’t wait to write a stellar review. Now, I haven’t used them yet! But I can tell you this: they are solidly made, VERY sturdy, and heavier than I expected. This is a good thing! No worries about the bowl tipping over. And the rubber gripping on the bottom really secures the bowl to the counter or table surface – no slipping or sliding! Can’t wait to use them! Very high quality product. Makes me want to try some other products by Rachael Ray. Oh, and the colors are lovely! I got the blue/teal set.

Great
These are perfect. Finally a handle only on one side. Easy to hold bowl with one hand and pour or spoon with other into pan.

Perfect for mise en place
These are beautifully designed bowls as are most of Rachael’s kitchen tools. There is a size for just about anything you require. I use them for mise en place and haven’t found I needed anything else to complete the set. Each bowl has a size molded into the side, which I haven’t found necessary, but it’s also not a negative. They’re easy to clean and stack neatly inside each other for storage. I highly recommend.

Love These…
These are great. Perfect size. Lighter than a glass mixing bowl but still sturdy and heavy duty. Love the handle and gripper bottom. These are also a perfect match with my kitchen colors.

Favorite mixing bowls ever!
Purchased 2, 3, 4 & 5qt bowls. These bowls nest nicely for neat storage. The curved handle is easy to grasp & doesn’t require extra storage space like my old glass mixing bowls with a handle. These are light weight but sturdy with a rubber gripper on the bottom. Dishwasher safe on the top rack. Not microwave safe, but that’s okay it’s a MIXING bowl! :)Note, the bowls hold the exact amount of quarts when they are filled to the top. The 4 & 5 qt I use for cake mixes & pancakes, the smaller bowls, I use for absolutely everything else in the kitchen.I highly recommend this product and love having all 4 bowls!

3rd most use bowls in my kitchen
NOT MICROWAVE SAFE – literally only downfallThese are absolutely fantastic, they sizes are great ( I don’t tend to use the small ones as much) but the top 3 sizes are used on the regular in my kitchen. You never want to microwave a bowl until you can’t. I use these for so many things, and I’ve popped it in the microwave here and there for a few seconds to melt butter, but no more than that. The sizes are great, and the handle is useful. They are nice and heavy in your hand, and have a little rubber grip on the bottom to help slippage.Wish they were microwave safe, otherwise I would use them even more.

These are great bowls. Love the spout on each for easy pouring and that they wash up good. They arenât too heavy but not at all flimsy. They are more of a hard plastic. Wonderful colours plus quick delivery. Bought them for my son to use in his apartment kitchen since they stack nicely together too. Great buy

Love the lightweight but sturdy construction of these. They are melamine so they cannot go in the dishwasher but they are much sturdier feeling than regular plastic mixing bowls. The rubber ring on the bottom keeps it from moving around. They are a bit pricey but seem worth it so far. I have just ordered the next size up set as well.
