This is such a .perfect bakeing dish. A lot of women on the website said the top didn’t fit on, but I don’t think that they’re realizing at that top does stay on and does not move back-and-forth. They just don’t know how to put it. Did the same thing to me and then my husband said well look. It slides in right On . So this is a fantastic piece.You can cook in the whole bacon dish.And the lid can be used as a second Baking Dish as well. I give this 5 stars go for it.You won’t be sorry

Extra deep, two dishes in one
Finally, I can make a lasagna without overfilling the pan! And itâs awesome the lid sits well above the food so it wonât stick to your food while baking. No more tin foil needed during baking. How did I not know this pan existed until now?!The lid also doubles as a shallow baking dish on its own, perfect for cookie bars, lemon bars, thick crust pizza, etc.I donât understand what people complained about saying their lid didnât fit. It fit fine on mine. Just place it on top – it doesnât click in or anything – itâs glass.

Works well for cooking bacon
I bought this because I cook bacon in the microwave every day. I was tired of using paper towels and did not like cooking in plastic. I also wanted something with a lid to stop splattering. This works well for that purpose. The large handles mean that I can pick up the dish with my bare hands and it isn’t hot. Cleanup is easy. It does take more time to cook because the microwave has trouble with thick glass, but that is normal and not a problem for me. It would be perfect if there was a way to hold the bacon off the bottom when it is cooking to get even more fat off of the bacon, but I am not sure how much a difference it would even make. I haven’t used this dish for anything else but it is great for cooking bacon, but I don’t know why it wouldn’t work great with anything you are cooking. The first one arrived shattered, but I just returned it and reordered a new one (yes, I took a box a shattered glass to the return center! LOL).

Arrived on time and as expected but the cost was too high for similar productss. I have been using Pyrex products for over 60 years and this is similar to what I used in the past. I wonder if the company can innovate by decreasing the weight but maintaining or increasing the strength of their products.

The Pyrex roasting pans are high quality glass but these are 50% deeper than typical pans. I bought them specifically for a thanksgiving feast for 20 people and had no problem making dishes to feed everyone. Even the lid works great as a shallower 9â x 13â pan.

At last a pyrex dish with handles that allow you to get an absolutely firm, safe grip.Always found those silly little rounded grips on most pyrex lethal when lifting stuff from the oven.Now getting old with stiffening fingers, this dish is a godsend.It’s made in the USA…there’s no equivalent in this country; just ordered 2 more and it’s about a 10 day wait.All else are normal pyrex features; though it’s also a nice looking serving dish that can sit happily in the middle of the table.

The 2 pieces doesn’t fit and you cannot close it. it is really not useful as we bought it for the reason to be able to close it.Not sure it if was mistake but I would expect you can close it. I would appreciate with you send a right item which works how it should
