I used these babies for about 7-8 months in my freshman year of college, and they were surprisingly sturdy enough to handle to nightly midnight meals. I’ve used the spoons to open up canned meals, ate piping hot ramen with the forks, and cut up meat/calzones/fruit with the knives and they still worked wonderfully. The material isn’t inmoveably solid, so it’s nice on the teeth as you eat. Although the material is and feels different, it does feel like using regular disposable cutlery but it never bothers me. I’ve never used them in the microwave, so I’m not sure if you can just throw a meal with it in there, but it’s otherwise convenient.

My spouse has a problem with metal utensils and any time you search for non-metal flatware itâs either disposable, biodegradable and snap with the slightest pressure, dull wood, or dull plastic for children.These for the bill and love that they are biodegradable but also washable. Cuts down on costs and trash. I just wish they sold individual utensil packs. We go through forks the most, and have a lot of extra spoons and knives.
