Hedge Hog hauler
I purchased this for just that little extra cargo capacity. My intention was to carry smaller items but have found it convenient for carrying items that I normally wouldnât tie down on my tour pack rack. It is smaller than I anticipated but I didnât want anything very large.

Installation was a snap. It looks good but boy is it small… Finding a bag to fit on it just to carry hiking shoes, rain gear maybe was a challenge, but for the right reason it is very capable

Awesome little unit. Fits perfect. Not sure why some had problems with this. I imagine if you don’t use a 3 inch rise on the ball end it might drag but that would be on the installer not the unit itself.

Great
This was put on my motorcycle so I could haul extra gas when I go on trips in case I ran out between stations. It actually happened to me in Texas. I suppose I was about 2-3 miles from a gas station and ran out. No real problem. I just unhooked 1 gas can (2 gal) and put it in the bike. It easily carried me to the next station. Truth is I had no problems with the rack at all.

It could have been useful.
If they would just make it at least wide enough to hold a 5-gallon bucket or something significant, it would have worked. They list it without stating the inside measurements of the platform. The inside only measures 15 1/8″ by 9 1/4″. Then they wanted to charge a 20% minimum restocking fee and the buyer pays return shipping. Now I’m the proud owner of a $130 cupcake holder!

very small
This is a well designed and built rack however if you buy it with the intention of carrying an extra luggage bag make sure your bag is Barby Doll size! Seriously about the only thing that will fit within the sides of this rack is the small cooler bag they sell for it. Fortunately you can strap a larger bag to it if you don’t mind it laying across the side rails. The photo is of a 38L dry bag.
