This is a solid wood set of trivets. They are very well made and held together by 2 pieces of elastic. They are easy to use. You can remove as many layers as you need and set them on the counter. They spread as you set the item on them. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as to whether or not it would slide out from under, but it does not which attests to how well made they are. Everything is perfectly balanced and measured so that it just spreads evenly with pressure and stays in place. I absolutely love that this cute seasonal decor as well as functional!!! It would be nice if it was just a pinch cheaper and came in more stain colors, but I really love it! I have been complimented on it multiple times. Even my husband said, “That’s cool!” It’s definately a win!
