Great for my 12″ Ooni pizza oven

(6 Inch) is great for my Ooni! In the past, I’ve just had to take the pizza out on a full sized peel, spin it by hand, and then put it back in. This small peel lets me just lift up one side and pull it around while still inside the oven – speeding up the cook since the crust stays in contact with the stone for the most part and it doesn’t get cooled off by the peel. You could not use this with a pizza oven
This is VERY short and small– maybe it would work with a normal kitchen oven, but for a pizza oven this would not cut it at all. It is not big enough or long enough for a pizza oven. So that was very disappointing.The material used is nice, but it does not feel very heavy duty. Again, maybe this would be the product to use if you were baking a frozen pizza and wanted to feel fancy getting it out of the oven with this product.

Poorly balanced handle and perforations hinders effective use
I have been making pizza and bread at home for several years because it both the only thing I can bake successfully and I and several of my family and friends have food allergies. I prefer metal pizza peels, but I do not like this one. I find the handle awkward and poorly balanced for turning much less even using as a main peel for small baked items. I have used m large peel to cook fresh tortillas and was hoping this would be less awkward. I do not like the metal handle and the balance as this makes me have poor control and balance using the peel in the oven. I can no imagine it would work better on a grill or pizza oven.The quality is ok, but the handle is too short to be useful in any meaningful sense except for a short push like on an outdoor grill. Even for the inexpensive price I feel its a poor value even as an introductory tool to try using a peel before buying a better one. I found the design of the perforations a hindrance on getting a good placement for dough or for turning. They tended to catch any irregularity in homemade dough. If you just want to pretend and use a perfectly uniform store bought pizza it might work ok, but for an actual peel or turning peel it is not effective.I would not recommend in most circumstances like using homemade dough.

Tiny, but works
We make about 14 neopolitan pizzas on Friday nights. Because we want to eat together, the pizzas go from the pizza oven into the regular oven to stay warm. The little peel is nice for getting them out of the regular oven for serving. It is a little small for anything else, and definitely too small for use in a hotter pizza oven.
