I wouldnt say it was razor sharp but it’s a really good chopping knife. I like the cover that comes with it. It’s a great looking knife too. Handle is well made and fits well and comfortably in the hand. I will be using this for awhile before deciding if I want to upgrade to a vastly more expensive knife. This is a great price for someone who wants a good chefs knife but isn’t ready to spend hundreds of dollars on one knife.

Good enough nakiri … poorly described
A nakiri is NOT a meat cleaver as the Amazon ad suggested! It’s primarily a vegetable knife! This one did NOT arrive razor sharp. BUT: It is well balanced. It has a comfortable handle/grip. It has a good enough edge and I can easily make it razor sharp. I’ll see if it will hold an edge. The spine is a little thick, but not too bad. All in all, an extremely inexpensive knife that is totally worth the price. I’m using this knife to decide if I want to add a chef quality nakiri style knife to my kitchen without spending that much $. If I do upgrade, this nakiri will go right into my little RV.

Striking kitchen knife
It has the appearance similar to folded Damascus steel and a slim line polymer sheath. The one quibble is that the handle is smooth hardwood and I can see how if your hands were greasy or oily, that the knife could slip. That being said, it was sharp and I diced some ham very easily with the knife.
