Best pan of its kind that I’ve ever owned.
I have had no less than 5 of this type of pan, deep skillet with a lid, and every one of them failed in some way over time. Either they warped, the non-stick stuck, or the non-stick wore out over time (even with zero metal utensils). But this one is perfection. The pile of discarded pans proved to me that you really do get what you pay for. After doing some research and watching videos by America’s Test Kitchen, I landed on the OXO brand and this skillet. We use it several times a week because it’s perfect for a lot of things. I hand wash the pan itself but the lid I wash in the dishwasher and it comes out fine. If it’s a splurge for you, keep in mind this pan and lid can probably do the work of 3-4 different types of pans. It’s worth it.

Exactly What I Needed
This one is my fourth non-stick stock pot to be used for making my weekly batch of steel cut oats, and it is my favorite one. I’ve had such good luck with OXO products that I decided to give this one a try. I’ve written reviews about my other pots, but this one is the best of all. No quirks about the lid or handles. It has a lower profile but a wider base than my other pots. The rivets holding the handles on are covered inside the pot so that food doesn’t get stuck on them. This makes it much easier to clean. It heats quickly and has a lid that prevents boil overs which I truly appreciate. This one’s a keeper.

Very nice pans but slow on induction
These are nicely made, very non-stick and a pleasure to use until you try heating something quickly on induction, say just boiling water. It takes at least twice as long as my stainless all clad. Definitely keeping them, nice pans, but given the growth of the induction market they need to revisit their metal composition.

Good sized to cook variety of foods
Its size allows cooking a wide range of foods and heats evenly. Cleans easily using a soft bristle brush. The coating could be damaged with a scouring pad.

these pots are nice but the lids are very heavy and get hot. I will have to use other lighter weight lids that don’t get hot on the pots. May return them

I bought the largest skillet from the same collection and was so happy I ordered this “Jumbo Sauté Pan”. Too small for our family of four. Would be helpful to include the diameter, not only the total volume (3Qt). Returned it.
