Perfect mixing bowls
The stainless interior has been good and held up well and the silincone base has been perfect to keep it non stick. Works well and washes well in the dishwasher.

Oxo Quality you expect!
These bowls are better than I thought they would be. Very high quality, a nice weight to them, great, stylish colors and I liked the non-skid bottom. Never thought I would get this excited about mixing bowls but these are truly great bowls with the Oxo quality you expect.
Update: The Oxo brand name print on the bowls have worn off after a couple months of use. Besides this the bowls have been very nice.

I saw these awesome OXO mixing bowls but was a bit hesitant to purchase because of the price point. However, I finally took the plunge and am very happy with this set.
I love the colors (I purchased the blue/gray set). I love the overall feel. This feels so much better than my stainless steel bowls which were functional but basic. This feels like a first class item in the hands with a nice lip. The bowls have a silicon bottom so these are quite sturdy during use, which is great. These clean up easily, which also means that pouring stuff like batter works really well.
I wouldn’t put these in the dishwasher to clean, and I don’t think that would ever be necessary frankly, so that should eliminate any concerns I have seen over rusting. I think if you take reasonable care of these bowls there will be no problems at all.
Overall?: Just get these. Yes, expensive. Yes, cheaper alternatives out there. But these are so nice, a measure to use, it makes cooking really fun to use these. Excellent product.

Worth the price!
I have been using these bowls for several months now and I love, love, love them. I love the way they look and the way they function. They are good and sturdy and look good at the same time. I got the lids for them and I am so glad that I did. The lids just make them much more functional.

These are perfect after 11 years of kitchen use.
I think these are the perfect mixing bowl set. I bought these in 2011 and will be buying again for another kitchen. I was browsing tonight looking at a seemingly limitless stainless mixing bowl selection but not seeing what I wanted. I added “good for whisking” to my search, and up popped the OXO bowls, telling me I had purchased them in 2011. I’d had them long enough not to remember to look for them in my past orders. They are not at hand so I had forgotten they were OXO. Well, OF COURSE they are OXO, they are perfect.
They still look great and are perfect in so many ways.
They are lightweight but non-slip with the lightly weighted black bottoms.
They are slightly insulated so heat doesn’t move between hands and bowl and ingredients.
They nest perfectly and are not hard to line up. They just drop in and are readily extracted from one another.
They don’t clank around, but live in peace with counters, sinks and each other.
They have rounded bottom best for wire whisks. Flat bottomed mixing bowls are a joke.
The sides are steep enough to keep ingredients in and aid in mixing. No need to chase ingredients around the bowl.
They can fold ingredients nicely, as required.
They provide a good grip and are easy to hold.
They work in the fridge and the dishwasher.
OK, they can’t go in the microwave.
They are super easy to scrape out and rinse out.
They hand wash and dry very quickly to take on the next task.
They don’t spot or turn color.
I’ve never wished there were more in the set, 3 does it all.
Look, a pretty new color has come along, but white’s quite nice.

A Kitchen Must Have – Great Bowls
I have both the white and blue/gray bowls and use them almost daily for mixing all sorts of ingredients for all sorts of recipes, but especially for sourdough bread. The smaller bowls are perfect for preferments, the medium for holding flours before combining in the large bowls to make the dough and, for some high hydration doughs, bowl folds, holding the dough between stretch and folds, etc.
Easy to clean up and I can keep all six bowls neatly nested in relatively small space.

These are amazing, stainless on the inside with a rubber bottom so they don’t move around.
Easy to clean and a great addition to the kitchen.

I do love these bowls, but am glad these are a 2nd set (I have another brand that are not insulated and in more sizes). This gives me an extra medium and small bowl which are the sizes I use the most. Photo showing that the medium bowl isn’t actually very big, as that is a full size balloon whisk in the bowl. Make sure you know what you are getting, the large bowl is actually smaller than I was expecting, it is definitely not large enough for some tasks. Really can’t give this less than 5 stars as these are beautifully made, don’t slide around and are great to look at too.
