Absolutely Fantastic Quality & The Owl Design Is So Incredibly Unique!
I’m in love with this Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven, bought the 1.5qt and had to have the size with the gold top handle, looks great with the black. I really wish the 3qt size had a gold top handle but it doesn’t. The overall design of these dutches is like no other, I’ve never in my lifetime seen an owl shaped cast iron dutch oven….and I’ve worked in specialty stores, like Crate & Barrel, I also work in a professional kitchen… so when I saw this and had to buy it!The overall build quality and finish is top notch, feels professional, there’s no chipping, its heavy, she’s thick and love that the lid handle screw is sealed into the bottom of the lid, no rusting and less gaps to trap food debris. Thought if someone ever needed to replace the handle or it broke off, that would be a big problem, can’t repair or replace knob. Anyways, I always take good care of my cookware but accidents do happen, so… just buy 2… just in case!I was so sad that the 1.5qt green option was sold out, but very happy with the black glossy and sleek look. Size is perfect to make some tomato soup for two or…. to make some gravy for the holidays. Though you could make a small sourdough loaf or prepare a side of veggies for a nice meal. Possibilitys are endless with this very manageable size, it’s not too big yet not too small, it’s almost too perfect!Will be buying all the sizes available to match, the price is so phenomenal, you just can’t beat it!

Perfect size for a round loaf of sourdough bread.
The pot is heavy and seems to retain the heat evenly. Bought this as a gift for a new sourdough baker and it was received warmly. Great value for the money! They had so many positive things to say about it, I actually bought one for myself. The lid top seems very secured and the wing handles are in a comfortable position for oven removal. The outside look of an owl is so cute and looks nice sitting on the kitchen counter. I have already recommended to family and friends who have also recently purchased one for themselves.

Looks amazing, heavy. Cooks evenly and good heat distribution. Cleaning it was easy after it was all black. Some scrubbing and the bottom looks good with minimal wear on it: after me using some heavy scrubbing power.
