So I timed one liter of water in this kettle and it was almost twice as fast as the one I got from the big box Washington store. It does get hot on the body but the handle is cool to touch. I donât love the switch which looks poorly designed but functions well. It shuts off when boiling and it waits until full rolling boil before it does. Happy with this one.

Super fast hot water for my tea!
I’m very happy with this electric kettle. Holds plenty of water if needed, and heats super fast. Once it gets boiling it automatically shuts off. As others have mentioned, the outside of the body of the kettle does get quite hot, so if you are worried about that you should look elsewhere. I only ever hold the handle when it’s hot so it hasn’t been a problem. The design of it looks very classy, as well. Easy to wipe out and keep clean.

I bought this kettle about a year ago and love how quickly it boils water. However, the lid started popping off whenever I opened it. Since it was still functioning normally otherwise, I didnât want to throw it away or buy a new one. Upon inspection, I discovered that a small knob was causing the lid to misalign, so I trimmed a bit where the knob touched. That solved the problem! It may not look great, but at least I donât have to purchase another kettle. Would I buy this kettle again? Probably not, but Iâll continue to enjoy it while it lasts.
