Purchased this Electric Kettle to take to work, it holds approximately 4 bottles of water and boils within a few minutes. I appreciate the automatic shut off feature for safety reasons. My only concern is that the opening to is small, and hard to get my hand in to wipe down the metal plate inside the kettle. Great product, would recommend.

So I bought a second one after the first one died after roughly 18 months…However this 2nd one is failed to turn on today after 23 months.For the price, the kettle is a very good. It boils water so quick and easy to handle.Reliability is questionable after having 2 in thr past 3 plus years. I might need to try different brand now.

Heats Very Quickly
I bought this to use to make French Press Coffee. The Kettle works perfectly for this. It has a neat feature where you don’t have to hold open the lid to fill it. Just shoot the water through the spring-loaded port in the lid to fill. This helps with ergonomics to not have to hold the kettle and hold the lid open with a thumb. Anyway, I like it. You can open the lid completely for cleaning. The base holds the kettle securely and it is easy to place the kettle onto the base without any miscuing or wobbling. The only thing I’d like to change is to have the kettle have a temperature display. When making French Press coffee you don’t want boiling water so it would be nice to know the temp. I do a work around with an electric thermometer and that suffices. But, an integrated thermometer would make this a 5 star kettle. Would I buy another? Sure…. especially if the company upgrades to a thermometer.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do
I purchased one for myself and one for my mother after our trip to Samoa. Lots of places there do not have hot tap water. We utilized their water pots to heat up water to take the edge off the freezing spring water showers/baths but we also used it for the instant coffee that is everywhere there as coffee beans aren’t as prevalent & of course for tea. We were so impressed with the kettles and wondered why we never had one at home. We both have the stove kettles- while functional, they take forever to heat up & don’t have an automatic shut off like this thing does. It heats up so fast it feels luxurious to use! This particular model had lots of great reviews and the price that I got both of ours for was exceptionally great. I ordered them as we were waiting to board the plane home & they were waiting on us when we got back! I use mine at least every other day for tea but what I also like to use it for is my mop water or any time I need really hot water FAST !! I never knew what I was missing. My mother called me about a week after we got back and said she loves hers. You can heat up enough for a cup of tea or the whole pot. It’s very user friendly {off/on}, it lights up when heating, dings & shuts off once it reaches boiling. So far this kettle works perfectly. The handle & pop top do not heat up at all, handling it is nice & comfortable. I was worried about getting splash back but the pour spout design is fantastic. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the cord/plug is heavier than the base. So when you lift the kettle off the base shifts. It’s not a deal breaker but it would be nice if the base were a little heavier. I like the lightweight of the kettle but not the base. This one is simplistic, lightweight, fast and budget friendly. If you’re looking for that, then you will love this kettle. If you’re look for something substantial and top of the line, this one will feel cheap because it’s so lightweight and mostly made of plastic. For me, it’s perfect because I only need it to heat up fast! It’s also not loud which is great in early morning brain fog.

There’s a screen in the spout which I wondered about, ends up being useful for hard water. Doubt it will last a year, it doesn’t feel made sturdy enough to be a lifelong kettle. Disposable life.You can pop the screen out and back in (or it’s defective). Cleans up pretty well. Body gets hot. It’s light weight. You do have to pour slower than, the screen is very fine and tightly wove ….. don’t rush.
