Pros;This cast iron pie pan is quite heavy and I need two hands to hold it steady.It looks well made and has a bumpy shape on the side, which makes the pie look better.The handles on both sides are also a good design, which is very convenient when I take it out of the oven with gloves.10 inches is a good size and is enough for an average family.Cons:The product packaging paper is printed on the inside of the pan, and it took me a while to clean it thoroughly.

It comes pre-seasoned, and if you don’t know what that means, you should definitely look it up for proper maintenance of cast iron products. As with all cast iron items, it is heavy, feels durable, and provides good heat distribution for cooking.The design looks well though, especially with notched rims to help with cutting slices and portioning. Deep dish design is good for pies and similar food. The handles are very helpful in handling, but make sure you have the proper heat insulated gloves, especially if you will use it in an oven.Overall, it is a very good pan that I can certainly recommend. But make sure you do the proper maintenance and seasoning as you use it.

This cast iron pie pan is fabulous for meat pies. The quality of the pan is great and it comes with excellent care instructions for keeping it looking new. I also like the notches around the rim that show you where to cut for perfectly sized pieces. I would order this again as a gift for the bakers in my family.

This is quite a decent pan. It is very heavy duty, which is great – but also kind of a pain. It’s really heavy, which makes it quite a chore to work with. Feels like it would hold up in a battle. The shape lends to creating some evenly distributed slices and almost serves as a guide. Aside from being awkwardly heavy, the only other downside really is the giant sticker they placed on the pan itself dead center. This is horrible for the finish, and for removal & cleaning. I would strongly urge rethinking this approach.Likes:- Very robust and heavy duty.- The shape works well for laying the ground work for making evenly distributed slices.- A good size and design for pie, but you could also use it for a few other things as well.Dislikes:- It’s very heavy, which isn’t ideal for handling.- The sticker in the middle is a horrible idea. Sticker on outer packaging maybe, but on the pan directly? This is awful for the finish and for removal.
