Cute and compact, but with a couple issues
I wanted a blender that could live on my counter instead of hauling it out whenever I wanted a smoothie, and this is small enough to do that. As a plus, it’s also super cute, so I don’t hate looking at another appliance on my counter lol.I like that the base is super heavy, so despite being small, it doesn’t rock around on the counter while blending. The noise level is a little high for me, but I’d say it’s standard for most blenders. The blending power is about what I’d expect for something this size; it’ll get through most smoothie ingredients, but I wouldn’t trust it with heavy duty work. Initially I thought the wavy sides of the cup would make it a pain to clean, but it hasn’t been so far. The blender is overall easy to clean.I do think it has a couple major issues. One of them is the locking and unlocking. It can be really finicky, which has lead to some leaks. I’ve also had the blade get stuck on the attachment, which can be difficult to get off when it happens. The other is that it stains surprisingly easily, I assume because it’s a plastic cup. If you’re using any more pigment-rich fruits or foods (pomegranate juice, blueberries, certain greens, etc), it can and will stain, in my experience.I do think at this price point, it should either be a glass cup OR it should come with multiple cups. I just think it’s not as high end as the look and price would imply, but it’s still a good blender.

Awesome blender
This is a really nice blender. This blender works great and the blades are super strong and fast. I have used this almost daily for the past few months and haven’t had any issues. I highly recommend.

As an owner of a high quality OUR PLACE pan I was intrigued at the fact that they made blenders as well and when I saw this Splendor Blender I decided to order it.The blender came in a very attractive Salt Blue colour. Upon unboxing you are presented with the power base, blender blade, blender vessel and a personal drinking lid.Right out of the box the blender has a solid, heavy feel to it. As I typically use this type of blender to make salad dressing that was my first use after unboxing. With very little effort and just a short amount of time this blender was able to make a salad dressing of good consistency. The blending cup is not very large which is ok with me as I don’t like to make too much dressing at one time. After making numerous cups of dressing over the last month or so my next attempt was a smoothie. The powerful blender was able to easily and effortlessly crush ice and frozen fruit without issue and in turn make a smooth and evenly blended smoothie. Two thumbs up on both making salad dressing and smoothies.This blender can be cleaned by adding a few drops of soap and water to the cup, running the machine for a few seconds and emptying out the cup and rinsing and drying it.I really wish that this blender came with a second blending cup. I sometimes like to keep extra dressing stored in the frig in the blending cup and having an extra cup would allow me to still use the machine while storing the other cup in the frig.Overall, this is an attractive, heavy duty blender and performs its duties without issue. If you are in the market for a new personal blender then this product is worthy of your consideration. Highly recommended.RATING 4.5/5.0

As someone who owns a couple pieces of Our Place cookware, I was excited at a chance to get to try and use their blender! I love both their matte pastel color but also their functionality!The base is quite heavy, similar to a regular countertop blender in weight. So this works better as a countertop staple than a unit you store in a cabinet (but it’s still fine to do so). The base only has 3 buttons, one to turn on the blender, one to pulse (you need to hold it to keep the blender on) and one to stop blending and put it on standby (though you can also stop the blending by pressing the on button again). Simple to use but you do loose that speed control you get on other blenders. The motor itself is very powerful and makes short work of ice and frozen fruits, resulting in a nice smooth smoothie with no chunks.The unit also has a nice safety feature which prevents you from turning on the blender if the vessel and blade base is not properly set. The white light blinks if the unit is not properly locked into place. The unit also makes an audible click once the vessel and blade are properly in place.The personal vessel it comes with is similar in design to magic bullet which means once you’re done blending you can simply take off the blade and convert it into a cup using the included lid. However because of this design there are a few cases (especially when making smoothies) where you need to take the vessel off the base and shake the cup to ensure there everything gets blended and there are no chunks left. In a normal blender you would have an opening at the top to push any chunks down but not with this inverted cup style vessel. Given its power though this happens much less often than a magic bullet which is a real plus! As the blade unit and vessel are separate this also makes cleaning a breeze as you don’t have to reach in to the vessel to clean the blades as you would with traditional style blenders.The one thing I think is a downside to this blender is that only one vessel is given! It would have been great if they included the smaller personal vessel or another same size vessel as well instead of having to buy it separately.Overall I’m very happy with this blender and would easily recommend it anyone especially if you like the athletics of the blender and are a looking for a simple and easy to use unit.

This is a really nice smoothie blender. For folks looking at a single serving option, this is a good choice. It is powerful and not as loud as other blenders I have used in the past. The blender is sturdy and seems well made. It is simple with three buttons on the front to make it easier than some others that have different programs. For some this may be a downside, but for me I was looking for something quick and powerful.I also like these style blenders which allow you to make your morning protein smoothie, then switch the ‘top’ and you can use the container as your cup. Saves on having to cleanup another vessel, although I do sometimes transfer my smoothie into a vacuum walled mug to keep it cool if it was a frozen smoothie.While it does a good job of chopping up everything that comes to the blades, I noticed sometimes it wouldn’t mix things well enough and I would have to turn it off, shake a little bit and then start it again to get things that wouldn’t flow around to the blades. It does a good job of the chopping, but not such a good job of mixing sometimes. I am not sure if this is a design issue with the blades or the glass vessel, but something that could be worked on for a V2 of this unit.
