Works very well so far, looks good on the counter, not too bulky, and is cheap
I bought this because it is relatively cheap, not too big, and I need a processor to rice cauliflower. I like the taste of cauliflower rice (a healthier substitute for real rice) but grating it by hand was too time consuming, wasteful, and the cauliflower’s sulphur smell stinks up the whole house. I have so far used the processor twice since receiving it. So far, it works VERY well. Tip #1 = Do not try to rice a whole head of cauliflower in one go. I tried that the 1st time and found the cauliflower pieces were just sitting on top of the blades, and not getting “processed.” The 2d time, I put the cut cauliflower pieces AROUND the blades, emptied once everything was reduced to fine grain-size, and refilled. Problem solved. The processor is very easy to clean which is great, since I am unlikely to ever use it otherwise (RIP the fancy juicer). FYI, I learned that the cauliflower stink happens regardless of whether you use a processor or a box grater. I baked blueberry muffins after cooking the cauliflower to try to chase the stench. I may have to rethink the cauliflower rice. Back to the processor – there are 2 other attachments besides the scary looking blade attachment: a plastic blade for working dough; and a flat metal circular piece apparently for grating things like cheese & carrots. Nice to have the options. Altogether, this was a good buy. I recommend this processor as a space saver (relative to a Cuisinart) that saves a lot of work and at this price, is a steal.

Perfect basic foood processor!
Great basic food processor! It does all it needs to for the typical family without the bells and whistles.Pros:-chops veggies very well, evenly, doesn’t leave a lot of big pieces and doesn’t turn them into part mash.-chops nuts well (not fine enough for flour or butter)-all the features work fine (dough, dressings, slicing, shredding-everything it says it can do)-affordableCons:-lid does not have a seal, making soup and filling bowl near maximum may cause liquid to leak down the side-blade does not lock into bowl, which means you can dump it out while emptying the bowl-loud (this may be a pro if your children squabble at dinner making time and you like to drown it out)-lightweight and requires a bit of pressure to not wobble if unevenly loaded with hard, large chunksOverall, we are very pleased. I must note 2 things, 1) we also have a vitamix blender, so this appliance is principally used for chopping veggies and 2) it is replacing a ridiculously overpriced food processor which had a blade lock, a lid seal and was heavyweight, but failed in less than 2 yrs without company support despite claims of a warranty. Oster appliances and customer service have done well for us, much better than more expensive brands. We did well to get a high end blender to do things like make smoothies, soup and flour and a basic food processor to chop veggies and make chicken salad.

Works well
I have no fear of a kid hurting themself with this machine. There are 3 safety features that have be set before it will run. The bowl has to be locked in, the lid has to be locked on and the feeder tool has to be inserted and push down. I wanted to make an apple brown Betty, chopping the bread worked really well as was slicing the apples, very impressive. No time at all. Cleaning the bowl was a snap, the lid was a different story, maybe something Oster could remedy. There is a ridge in the lid that sits on the bowl. Pieces of food seem to get stuck in it making it a little difficult to clean, but an old toothbrush works to dislodge it. I believe that was also mentioned by a previous reviewer. Lost 1 star for that. BONUS: all the parts fit into the bowl so you wonât be losing them. This unit is tall, 16â when assembled. When you are making dough you make sure you are holding on to this sucker, it jumps and bounces around more than a herd of wild horses. If you’re not paying attention, you could find it on the floor. Update: So far I have made dough twice for pizza and this processor is just a pain to clean. Dough gets stuck everywhere inside the bowl, inside the parts, and all over my hands when I’m trying to remove it. I’ve decided it’s way more convenient and less messy by making dough in my Bosch mixer with a dough hook.

Ole reliable
We bought the first one of theses food processors about 4 years ago? We needed a food processor to help slice cucumbers, as we make pickles for a living. This food processor has kicked tail for 4 year working super duper hard every single day.The only drawbacks I have for this machine is that if you accidentally throw away or loose the stick that turns the blade ,the entire thing becomes a cute paper weight. Super cute but useless. Also sometimes stuff gets into the space under the safety switch. Itâs not super difficult to remove, but to get the safety switch back in is a pain.Anyway, I e tried several other food processors. In the end, after one catching on fire, another does a piss poor job ; we went back to new ole reliable.

The only thing I have an issue with is the liquids that get stuck in the handle and the customer service from Oster. But it’s a really decent food processor

Muy práctico a la hora de cocinar me quita muchÃsimo tiempo en la preparación de mis comidas. Puedes realizar diferentes tipos de hummus, cremas de cacahuete y almendras, smothies, y el corte de los vegetales es increÃble.
