Great sharpener for everyday use
I have used this sharpener for a couple of weeks and extremely pleased. I have used it for vintage buck knives, cold steel, Gerber, assorted kitchen knives and a number of other knives I have had for many years.
I mainly use the medium and fine slots. Most of my knives needed a touch up. Instruction are on the tool and it can be adjusted for different blades. Works like a charm. I highly recommend

Just ran it through first time. Did my pocket knife, the kitchen knives. Angle adjust good feature. Instructions were printed on the unit. The nonslip surface worked well. Had a bunch of dull kitchen knives, put a good edge on all. Worth the price.

Works quite well over most expensive stones
The handle, once you get used to it, is actually quite decent. Compared to those $200+ stones that you need to know how to use just to sharpen your blades properly along with the time, and I still find many extremely lacking even into the $4800 category. This is quite effective. I’ve used it more than a handful of and times and plan to purchase more as a chef in the kitchen. Quick and efficient devices takes a burden off our shoulders especially during or after rush hours. It’s already provided a better cut overall and minimal effort. 15 degrees to cleanly cut meat without dulling or chipping the blade and it offers a 12 degree cut among many, wish it offered a 7 or a 3 for dishes that require a very finite touch but for what it’s worth, it’s worth it’s weight in platinum. Plan on purchasing more in the future, especially if you go with a “Chef” version as it’s on par with honing steel rods.

Easy to use
This knife sharpener was very easy to use. Sharpened some old, dull knives quite well without any effort. I was afraid to try it on some expensive knives, but I did try 2 of the expensive steak knives I’ve used a lot. It didn’t seem to do anything that I could tell offhand, but I haven’t used them yet. Maybe they need a different angle?

Good product! Worked wonders with my chefâs knife, not so much with the santoku!
Easy to use, compact and good build quality! Took less than a minute to sharpen my chefâs knife with the standard 18 deg setting. Switched to 15 deg for the santoku. This did not work as well with the paper test, but it works where it counts : cutting fruit and veg!

I bought this sharpener to replace an older pull-through sharpener, I started using it, but after using it, various kitchen knives i tried would not get very sharp and always felt dull no matter which angle i set the adjustment wheel to. Then, after my third or fourth knife sharpening session, i made the mistake of turning the “angle adjust” wheel to try and get a real sharp edge but i ended turning it to its most open ( (not for kitchen knives) position which was still within it operating parameters, but the wheel froze in that position. No matter how i tried, i could not get the wheel to budge and change the angle to a narrower one for blade sharpening. Now i have to throw it in the garbage. I spent over $50 for this sharpener.

USE AT OUR OWN RISK, THEN BE PREPARED TO BUY A DIFFERENT KNIFE SHARPENER.

Can’t adjust the angles, contacted producent after registering product but no one came back to me with advice or any information. Definitely not worth of buying. My advice, just return if it’s broken and do not waste time, to not miss the return window.
