Works very well at a very good price.
It works well, easy to use, my old knives (mind you, they are not high quality knives to begin with ) are much sharper, it doesnât take up much space, the design and instructions are easy to understand, and itâs a good value for the money. Just have practice your hand techniqueâpull the knife straight as possible, and use little force. Let the sharpener do the workâdonât muscle the knives.

It eventually worked
The instructions indicate 5-6 swipes at the first setting, the 3-5 on the next and 2-3 on the last to fine tune. I’m paraphrasing on the numbers, but, it was close to that. My knives may have been exceptionally dull because it was more like 30 passes on the first setting to even begin to get an edge on them. It did eventually sharpen them. The design is good, but, it still slips around on the counter some. Overall, it did the job, and I am happy for that. Going forward, it may work better as my knives won’t be as dull as they were to begin with.

Good for a quick sharping. I still prefer my whetstone. I found it doesn’t sharpen serrated knives at all. Has a good grip. No chance of cutting your self during sharping. I tried a pair of garment shears I had for 40 years, it did good job on them. Good buy.

This knife sharpener is easy to grip and easy to use. I sharpened six kitchen knives in about 30 minutes following the instructions from the manufacturer. Just use easy pull through motions and donât be in a hurry. I was very pleased with the results in the sharpness of each knife.

WOW! What a peice of junk. Not only does it not sharpen but it ruined the edges on three of my knives (using the “fine” setting). Stay away from this thing.
