I was expecting chipping around the edges soon after use them, Iâm a bit clumsy. Itâs been more than a month and theyâre still perfect. They look good in the table, they weight right and itâs a good price for them.

Well-Crafted, Thick Mugs – Handles Are A Bit Small Though
I did a little digging into the Bloomhouse company before ordering these. I appreciate the fact that Bloomhouse appears to be an eco-conscious company and they seem to care about keeping toxic materials out of their cookware and serveware. Coffee mugs are a dime a dozen, but I wanted ones that I could feel using without having to worry about the usual toxins like lead, cadmium, etc.These are thick, well-made mugs and come in 4 colors. I picked the burnt apricot because all the colors have artisanal flecks from the reactive glazing process, and I thought the flecks would be less prominent in a darker colored mug. It is a nice enough color but if there were no flecks I would have gone for the Cappuccino Cream.I like that these are hefty in size but are not heavy. They keep hot liquids warm and are easy to keep clean through rinsing, hand-washing, or dishwasher.My main disappointment is that the handle on these mugs is rather small. I have small hands but can only get two fingers through the handle. Three fingers would have been better for such a large mug. I looked at the design and shape and they do seem to have room to extend the handle down a notch or two.Also, it would have been nice if the top rim of the mug (where you sip from) was beveled to make it thinner. The rim is rounded and as thick as the rest of the body, and I’m just used to thinner sipping edges in my mugs and drinking glasses.Maybe in the future they’ll redesign these and add some new colors. As it stands though I’d give these 4 stars and overall, I’m glad I ordered these.

I really like the clay color. They are very beautiful dishes. I am going to really enjoy them. I have always liked Santa Fe, New Mexico and these dishes. Remind me of that area. They were packed very well. I highly recommend them. Theyâre really worth every penny.
